900ml water bottle price manufacturers

For plastic bottles, prioritize BPA-free materials such as Tritan™ copolyester, which is impact-resistant and does not retain odors. If sourcing metal, ensure it is Food-Grade 304 (18/8) Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance. For glass options, borosilicate glass is essential due to its high thermal shock resistance. Always verify that the product meets FDA or LFGB food-grade certifications to ensure global market compliance.

Double-wall vacuum insulation can increase the price by 30-50% compared to single-wall versions but adds significant value by keeping drinks cold for 24 hours. Lid mechanisms also affect cost; a simple screw cap is the most economical, while one-click flip tops with safety locks or integrated straws add to the manufacturing complexity and price. Ensure the silicone sealing ring is high-quality to guarantee a 100% leak-proof design.

Standard customization includes silk-screen printing, laser engraving, and UV printing. Laser engraving is often preferred for stainless steel as it is permanent and has lower MOQs (often starting at 50-100 units). For custom colors (Pantone matching), suppliers typically require a higher MOQ of 1,000 to 3,000 units. OEM services for unique mold shapes will involve significant tooling costs ranging from $1,500 to $5,000.

Buyers should demand a leakage test (inverted for 24 hours), a drop test (1.2 meters height), and coating adhesion tests (cross-cut tape test) for painted bottles. For 900ml sizes, check the graduation scale accuracy if applicable. Ensure the packaging is robust enough to prevent denting during transit, especially for lightweight aluminum or thin-walled plastic bottles.

Always request a pre-production sample before releasing the bulk payment. Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI). On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site verification by independent bodies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland.

Negotiate based on Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Ask for a breakdown of material costs vs. processing costs. For new relationships, use a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment against the Bill of Lading (B/L). For high-value orders, consider using Escrow services or Letters of Credit (L/C) to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment.

Since water bottles are high-volume but relatively low-weight, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical for bulk orders. If you are testing the market, Sea + Delivery (DDP) is a popular choice as it includes customs clearance and taxes. Avoid Air Freight for large quantities of 900ml bottles, as the volumetric weight will significantly inflate your landed cost.

Check the HS Code (typically 3924.10 for plastic or 7323.93 for stainless steel) against your country's tariff schedule. For example, U.S. buyers should check for Section 301 tariffs on Chinese-made goods. Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin to potentially benefit from Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) that might reduce import duties.
