Adult man toy manufacturers

When sourcing adult toys, the most important factor is material biocompatibility. You must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, TPE, or ABS plastic that is BPA-free and Phthalate-free. For the EU market, compliance with REACH and RoHS is mandatory to ensure no hazardous chemicals are present. For the US market, adherence to ASTM standards and ensuring materials are non-porous to prevent bacterial growth is vital for consumer safety.

Buyers should focus on battery safety and motor noise levels. Look for products with lithium-ion batteries that have UN38.3 certification for safe air transport. The noise level should ideally be below 50dB for discretion. Additionally, verify the IPX7 waterproof rating if the product is intended for use in water, and ensure the charging interface (typically USB magnetic charging) is durable and corrosion-resistant.

Request a Product Quality Inspection Report from the supplier. Key tests include the tensile strength test for TPE/silicone parts to ensure they don't tear, and battery cycle life tests. It is highly recommended to use Made-in-China.com's Audited Supplier reports to verify if the manufacturer has a professional dust-free workshop and specialized testing equipment like vibration testers and salt spray testers.

Most professional suppliers offer private labeling (logo engraving), customized packaging (discreet design), and UI/App customization for smart devices. The MOQ for custom packaging usually starts at 500-1000 units, while simple logo printing may have a lower threshold. Ensure the supplier can provide CAD/3D design files if you are developing a proprietary mold.

Adult toys are often flagged as 'sensitive goods' in certain jurisdictions. To ensure smooth clearance, use neutral descriptions on commercial invoices (e.g., 'Massager' or 'Silicon Wellness Device') and use discreet outer packaging without explicit imagery. Always check the local import regulations of the destination country, as some regions have strict morality laws that may lead to seizure.

To mitigate financial risk, utilize Trade Assurance services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Use Escrow-based payments where the funds are only released to the supplier after you confirm the Bill of Lading (B/L) or after a successful third-party pre-shipment inspection.

Focus on long-term volume commitments rather than one-off price haggling. Ask for a sample fee rebate upon the first bulk order. Negotiate for a 1-2% defect allowance or spare units included in the shipment to cover potential electronic failures, which is a common industry standard to offset the cost of international returns.

Since many adult toys contain lithium batteries, they are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You should choose carriers experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) shipping. For small batches, specialized air couriers are fastest, but for bulk, sea freight (LCL/FCL) is more economical. Ensure the supplier provides the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to the freight forwarder to avoid shipping delays.
