Africa mosquitos exporters manufacturers

When sourcing mosquito nets, prioritize Long-Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLINs). Ensure the material is 100% Polyethylene or Polyester with a minimum weight of 30-40g/m2. The mesh size must be at least 156 holes per square inch to prevent insect entry while maintaining breathability. For durability, look for reinforced borders and a bursting strength of at least 250 kPa.

Products must align with WHO Pre-qualification (WHO PQS) standards for public health use. For chemical repellents or treated nets, verify EPA registration or EU Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) compliance. Ensure the active ingredients, such as Deltamethrin, Permethrin, or DEET, are within safe concentration limits and accompanied by a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

Request third-party lab test reports demonstrating a knockdown rate (KT50) and mortality rate within 24 hours. For electronic ultrasonic repellers, ask for frequency range validation certificates. It is highly recommended to source from suppliers on Made-in-China.com who hold ISO 9001 for quality management and CE/RoHS for electronic components.

Sourcing should be categorized by use-case: Residential nets require aesthetic variety (conical/rectangular), while Humanitarian/NGO supplies focus on high-volume LLINs with 3-5 year lifespans. For outdoor protection, functional requirements include UV resistance for coils and waterproof casing for outdoor traps.

The biggest risks are counterfeit chemicals and substandard mesh quality. Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) by agencies like SGS or Intertek. Additionally, be aware of country-specific import bans on certain insecticides; check the National Environmental Management Authority guidelines of the destination country.

Utilize Secured Payment services on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipping. Negotiate a staged payment plan (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against Bill of Lading). Demand a guaranteed shelf-life of at least 2 years for chemical-based products in the contract.

For bulky items like mosquito nets, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL) is the most economical. However, mosquito coils and aerosols are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) due to flammability or chemical content. Ensure the supplier provides UN-certified packaging and a Dangerous Goods Declaration to avoid customs seizures or port delays.

Many African nations offer duty exemptions for anti-malarial products under public health initiatives. Ask your supplier to provide a Certificate of Origin to take advantage of trade agreements like AfCFTA. Ensure all labeling is in the official language of the destination country (e.g., English, French, or Portuguese) to comply with local trade laws.
