Aluminum glass wardrobe manufacturers

When sourcing these wardrobes, prioritize the frame thickness, which should ideally be 1.2mm to 2.0mm for structural stability. The glass must be tempered safety glass (typically 5mm thickness) to comply with international safety standards. Additionally, ensure the sliding track system uses high-quality stainless steel or nylon rollers to guarantee a smooth, noise-free operation for at least 50,000 cycles.

For the European market, ensure the product meets CE marking and EN 12150-1 standards for thermally toughened soda lime silicate safety glass. For the US market, SGCC (Safety Glass Certification Council) certification is vital. Furthermore, verify that the aluminum alloy used is 6063-T5 grade, which offers the best balance of strength and surface finish quality for furniture applications.

Request details on the surface treatment method. Anodized finishes should have a thickness of 10-15 microns to prevent corrosion, while powder coating should be applied at 60-80 microns for impact resistance. Ask for a Salt Spray Test report (minimum 48 hours) to ensure the wardrobe can withstand humid environments without oxidation.

A capable supplier should offer modular configurations, allowing for adjustable shelving and hanging rods. Look for options in glass finishes (tinted, frosted, fluted, or mirrored) and integrated LED lighting systems with motion sensors. Ensure the supplier can provide CAD or 3D rendering support to align with your specific interior design requirements.

The biggest risk is breakage during transit. You must insist on Five-Layer Corrugated Cartons combined with EPE foam edge protectors and wooden crates or pallets for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments. Ensure the supplier uses 'Fragile' and 'Handle with Care' labels in multiple languages.

Utilize the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are received. Before placing a bulk order, check if the supplier is an Audited Supplier on the platform, which confirms their business license, production capacity, and quality control processes have been verified by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas.

Focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a spare parts kit (extra rollers, handles, and glass gaskets) to be included at no cost. For orders exceeding 50 units, aim for a 10-15% volume discount, and try to negotiate a 30% deposit / 70% balance payment after a successful pre-shipment inspection.

Aluminum wardrobes are often shipped KD (Knock-Down) format to save on shipping volume and costs. Ensure the HS Code (typically 9403.20 for metal furniture) is correctly declared to avoid customs delays. If shipping to the US or EU, confirm if there are any anti-dumping duties currently applicable to aluminum extrusions from the country of origin.
