B2B buyers must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, TPE, or non-porous PVC. It is critical to verify that the materials are 100% Phthalate-free and BPA-free to prevent skin irritation or toxic leaching. Request FDA or REACH compliance certificates from the supplier to ensure the chemical composition meets international health standards.

Focus on tensile strength and shore hardness (durometer). For silicone products, a platinum-curing process is preferred over peroxide-curing as it results in a more stable, odorless, and durable finish. If the product includes vibration functions, ensure the motor is rated for at least 50,000 cycles and carries CE and RoHS certifications for electronic safety.

For premium positioning, products should achieve an IPX7 rating, meaning they can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. This ensures ease of cleaning and hygiene maintenance, which are top priorities for end-consumers. Lower-tier products should at least be IPX4 (splash-proof) to protect internal electronics during washing.

Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer private labeling (logo laser engraving), custom Pantone color matching, and bespoke packaging design. For large-scale orders, you can request custom mold development to create unique shapes that differentiate your brand from generic market competitors.

Adult products are subject to varying levels of scrutiny. Ensure the HS Code (typically 3926.90 or 9019.10) is correctly declared. Avoid explicit imagery on external shipping cartons to prevent customs seizures or delays in conservative regions. Always provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for products containing batteries or liquids.

Start by requesting a sample kit to verify texture and motor noise levels. Negotiate based on tiered pricing; for example, a 500-unit order may yield a 15-20% discount compared to the base MOQ. Ask for 'Golden Supplier' status verification and use Trade Analysis tools to check their export history to your specific target market.

Utilize Secured Payment services offered by the platform to hold funds until the shipping documents are verified. Hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'During Production Check' (DUPRO) or a 'Final Random Inspection' (FRI) to ensure the defect rate is below 1.5% (AQL 1.5) before the balance is paid.

For small trial batches, International Express (DHL/FedEx) is fastest but expensive. For bulk inventory, Sea Freight (LCL) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier uses neutral outer packaging (plain brown boxes) with no mention of the contents to maintain privacy and security throughout the logistics chain.
