Batteries for toshiba price manufacturers

When sourcing batteries, you must verify the exact model number (e.g., PA5109U-1BRS) and the voltage rating. Most Toshiba laptops use 10.8V, 11.1V, or 14.8V systems; using the wrong voltage can damage the motherboard. Ensure the physical dimensions and connector pin configuration match the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications to guarantee a seamless fit.

Prioritize suppliers using Grade A cells from reputable manufacturers like Samsung, LG, or Panasonic, or high-quality Chinese brands like BYD. Look for a high energy density (mAh) that matches or exceeds the original capacity. A quality battery should maintain over 80% capacity after 500 charge cycles and include a Battery Management System (BMS) to prevent overcharging, over-discharging, and short-circuiting.

To ensure legal entry and consumer safety, batteries must have UN38.3 certification for safe transport. For specific markets, look for UL2054 or UL1642 (USA), CE/RoHS (Europe), and PSE (Japan). If you are selling in the US, FCC compliance is also necessary for electronic components to ensure they do not cause electromagnetic interference.

The price of Toshiba replacement batteries is primarily driven by the cell quality and protection board (PCB) complexity. Low-cost options often use recycled or Grade B cells, which have shorter lifespans and higher failure rates. Investing in a slightly higher unit price usually results in a lower Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) rate, saving you significant costs in long-term customer support and shipping returns.

Lithium batteries are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. You must ensure the supplier provides a valid MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) and a Dangerous Goods Declaration. Failure to follow IATA (Air) or IMDG (Sea) packaging regulations can lead to heavy fines, shipment seizures, or fire hazards during transit.

Look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Check their business license scope to ensure they are a manufacturer rather than a pure trading company. Request a factory tour via video call to inspect their aging-test room, where batteries should be tested for at least 24-48 hours before packing.

Negotiate based on tiered pricing (e.g., 100, 500, 1000 units). Ask for a 1-2% spare parts allowance (extra units) to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) items instead of returning individual units. Also, clarify the warranty period (typically 12 months) and whether the supplier will cover the shipping cost for replacement units if the defect rate exceeds a certain threshold (e.g., 1%).

Always use Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until the goods are shipped. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts. For large volumes, consider a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by an independent third party to verify the quantity and quality.
