When sourcing intimate products, the material safety is paramount. You should prioritize medical-grade silicone, which is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and easy to clean. Ensure the products have a waterproof rating of at least IPX7 for versatility and durability. For electronic items, look for lithium-ion rechargeable batteries with a standby time of at least 30 days and noise levels below 50 decibels to ensure user privacy and comfort.

Products must adhere to strict safety certifications. For the European and Russian markets, CE and RoHS certifications are mandatory to ensure electronic safety and the absence of hazardous substances. Additionally, materials should be phthalate-free and REACH compliant to prevent skin irritation or long-term health risks. Always request Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) from your supplier before finalizing a purchase.

Request the supplier to provide motor life-cycle test reports, typically ensuring at least 200 to 500 hours of continuous operation. For surface materials, check for tensile strength and abrasion resistance. It is highly recommended to order samples to test the tactile feel, button responsiveness, and charging stability before committing to a bulk order.

Russia has strict regulations regarding the description of goods on customs invoices. Avoid using overly explicit language; instead, use neutral terms like 'Massager' or 'Personal Wellness Device' and the correct HS Code (typically 901910). Ensure the supplier provides a Declaration of Conformity (EAC), which is often required for customs clearance within the Eurasian Economic Union.

Always utilize the Secured Trading Service provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. Negotiate a payment structure of 30% deposit and 70% balance after a successful pre-shipment inspection. Clearly define the Quality Acceptance Criteria (AQL 2.5/4.0) in the contract to have legal recourse in case of defective batches.

Privacy is the top priority for end-consumers. Ensure the supplier uses discreet, unbranded outer packaging with no mention of the contents. For long-distance shipping to Russia, use double-walled corrugated boxes and moisture-proof inner lining to protect the delicate electronic components from the extreme temperature fluctuations common during transit.
