B2B buyers must prioritize medical-grade silicone or non-porous ABS plastic that is BPA-free and phthalate-free. Ensure the product complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) to guarantee no heavy metals are present, and REACH standards for chemical safety in the EU market. For the US market, ensuring materials are FDA-compliant is a significant competitive advantage.

Focus on motor noise levels (ideally <50dB) for consumer privacy and battery capacity (mAh) to ensure a runtime of at least 60-90 minutes per charge. The device should feature IPX7 waterproofing for easy cleaning and versatility. Additionally, verify the vibration frequency modes (typically 7-10 patterns) to meet diverse market demands.

Ensure the internal lithium batteries have UN38.3 certification and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for safe international transport. The charging interface should ideally be magnetic USB charging or Type-C for modern compatibility. For plug-in models, verify CE (Europe), UL (USA), or SAA (Australia) certifications for the power adapters.

Since these devices contain batteries, they are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) in air freight. You must use a freight forwarder experienced in Battery Shipping and ensure the supplier provides a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. Shipping via Sea Freight is more cost-effective for bulk orders but requires longer lead times.
