Bronze mirror glass price manufacturers

When sourcing bronze mirror glass, the quality is determined by the base glass clarity and the silvering process. Ensure the product uses Grade A float glass to avoid distortions. The thickness typically ranges from 3mm to 6mm; thicker glass offers better structural integrity and a flatter reflection. You should verify if the mirror is copper-free and lead-free, as these 'eco-friendly' mirrors offer superior corrosion resistance and longevity compared to traditional mirrors. Additionally, check for double-back coating (Fenzi paint) which protects the reflective layer from oxidation and humidity.

Compliance is critical for customs clearance and safety. For the US market, ensure the glass meets ASTM C1503 standards for silvered flat glass mirrors. For the European market, CE marking and compliance with EN 1036 (glass in building - mirrors from silver-coated float glass) are mandatory. If the mirror is intended for public spaces, it may require safety backing (CAT I or CAT II vinyl film) to prevent shattering, which should comply with ANSI Z97.1 or EN 12600.

The price is heavily influenced by the coating technology. Vacuum magnetron sputtering (for tinted glass) and automatic silvering lines are more cost-effective for bulk production but require high MOQs. Customizations such as beveled edges, polished C-edges, or CNC drilling will increase the unit price by 15-25%. Furthermore, the tint intensity (Euro Bronze vs. Golden Bronze) can affect the price depending on the availability of the tinted float glass substrate.

Bronze mirror glass is primarily used for interior decoration, furniture inlays, and architectural wall cladding to create a warm, luxurious aesthetic. For high-humidity environments like bathrooms or coastal hotels, you must specify anti-corrosion treated edges. For commercial wall installations, ensure the glass is temperable (if it is a chrome mirror) or has a safety film backing to meet building safety codes.

Glass is highly fragile; therefore, you must mandate seaworthy plywood crates with interlayer paper or powder to prevent scratches and chemical 'glass flu' (clouding). Request steel banding and corner protectors on all crates. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, ensure the supplier uses A-frame racks and provides insurance coverage (All Risks) to protect against transit damage.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers. Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer significant discounts for full container loads (FCL) because it reduces handling risks and logistics costs. You can also negotiate based on payment terms; for example, offering a higher deposit might secure a lower unit price. Always request a Proforma Invoice (PI) that details the glass grade, thickness tolerance (±0.2mm), and packing method before sending payment.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until delivery. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspection firm (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This inspection should verify the quantity, dimensions, and edge quality to ensure the goods match the agreed-upon specifications before the final balance is paid.

Check for anti-dumping duties on glass products originating from China in your specific country, as these can significantly impact the total landed cost. Ensure the supplier provides a correct HS Code (typically 7009.91 for unframed mirrors) and a Certificate of Origin (CO) to help you benefit from any applicable Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and streamline the customs process.
