Cd70 motorcycle spare parts manufacturers

For engine parts like pistons, rings, and valves, you must ensure they are manufactured from high-grade aluminum alloys or heat-resistant steel to withstand the 72cc displacement thermal load. The bore diameter must strictly be 47mm for standard CD70 models. Prioritize suppliers who use CNC precision machining to ensure a tolerance level within ±0.01mm, which is critical for maintaining compression ratios and preventing oil leakage.

The drive chain should ideally be a 428 series with a minimum tensile strength of 18kN. Look for sprockets made from 1045 high-carbon steel that have undergone induction hardening to reach a hardness of HRC 45-50. For the clutch assembly, ensure the friction plates are asbestos-free and tested for at least 10,000km of operational life under standard load conditions.

Depending on the target market, parts must meet specific safety benchmarks. For electrical components like CDI units or stators, CE or RoHS certification is often required. For structural parts and lighting (headlights/indicators), look for the E-Mark (Europe) or DOT (USA) stamps. Ensure the manufacturer is ISO 9001:2015 certified to guarantee a consistent Quality Management System (QMS) across bulk production batches.

OEM-grade parts typically feature original mold markings and superior finishing, such as electrostatic powder coating for frames and triple-layer chrome plating for exhaust pipes to prevent rust. Aftermarket parts are more cost-effective but should still be vetted for material density and weight; for instance, a high-quality CD70 carburetor should be made of zinc alloy rather than cheaper, lighter aluminum scrap.

Always request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) conducted by a third-party agency like SGS or Intertek. On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone on-site factory verifications. Requesting a production sample before the mass order is non-negotiable to verify that the material composition matches your specifications.

Focus on Tiered Pricing; for CD70 parts, a volume increase from 500 to 2,000 units can often yield a 10-15% price reduction. Negotiate for spare wear-parts (e.g., gaskets, bolts) to be included at no extra cost (usually 2-3% of the order volume). Additionally, discuss payment terms such as a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to protect your cash flow.

Motorcycle parts are heavy and prone to impact damage. Insist on neutral export packaging with double-corrugated cartons and palletization for engine blocks or rims. For sea freight, ensure the use of VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) bags for metal parts to prevent oxidation during long-term exposure to salty sea air. For the CD70 market in regions like South Asia or Africa, CKD (Completely Knocked Down) packaging can significantly reduce import duties compared to assembled units.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Always verify the supplier's business license and ensure the bank account name matches the company name registered on the platform.
