China china spray starch price manufacturers

Buyers should focus on the active ingredient concentration (typically starch or synthetic polymers) and the aerosol pressure stability. High-quality spray starch must provide a clump-free application and a uniform mist to prevent white spotting on fabrics. Ensure the product features heat-protective additives that prevent scorching during high-temperature ironing.

Since spray starch is often an aerosol, it is classified under Dangerous Goods (Class 2.1 or 2.2). Suppliers must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a UN38.3 certification for shipping. For the US market, compliance with VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) limits set by CARB is essential, while EU buyers must ensure REACH registration and CLP labeling compliance.

Premium spray starches utilize advanced polymer technology to ensure a 'flake-free' finish even on dark fabrics, which justifies a higher price point. Long-lasting fragrances (such as linen or lavender) that are IFRA-certified add significant value for retail consumers. Basic versions using natural cornstarch are more cost-effective but may be prone to clogging or flaking if not formulated with proper surfactants.

The tinplate thickness of the aerosol can must meet international pressure standards to prevent leaking or bursting during transit. For private label (OEM) orders, ensure the lithographic printing is crisp and uses UV-resistant inks. Standard export packaging should include double-wall corrugated outer cartons with internal dividers to protect the nozzles from accidental discharge.

Aerosols are restricted items. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling. Shipping via Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) is the most economical method, as air courier services (like DHL/FedEx) often refuse aerosols or charge prohibitive hazardous material surcharges. Ensure the supplier provides a Dangerous Goods Declaration to avoid customs seizures.

Focus on volume-based pricing tiers. Most factories on Made-in-China.com offer significant discounts when ordering a full 20ft container, as this optimizes their production runs and domestic logistics. Inquire about formula customization—reducing the fragrance percentage or adjusting the starch concentration can help meet specific target price points without compromising basic functionality.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds until the goods are shipped. For first-time orders, it is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI), specifically checking for can pressure, net weight accuracy, and valve functionality.

Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com who possess ISO 9001 and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certifications. Check their export history to your specific region to ensure they are familiar with your local customs requirements and labeling laws, which reduces the risk of import delays or fines.
