I have found results from10000+products and7000+suppliers aboutChina wholesale 47 brand cap
When sourcing high-quality caps, prioritize 100% garment-washed cotton twill for that signature 'broken-in' feel and vintage aesthetic. Ensure the stitch density is high (at least 10-12 stitches per inch) to prevent fraying. For the branding, look for raised embroidery (3D embroidery) with a high thread count, ensuring there are no loose threads or gaps in the design. The internal sweatband should be multi-layered and moisture-wicking to enhance wearer comfort.
Standard wholesale caps should follow the unstructured, six-panel low-profile crown design. Verify that the pre-curved visor maintains its shape after pressure tests. For sizing, ensure the adjustable strapback uses high-quality hardware, such as a brass buckle or premium Velcro, allowing for a head circumference range of 55cm to 61cm. If sourcing for specific markets, confirm the crown height and brim length match regional preferences (e.g., 'Asian Fit' vs. 'Global Fit').
To avoid customs issues, products must comply with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) regulations, specifically testing for lead content in dyes and phthalates in plastic components. Ensure the fabrics are certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, guaranteeing they are free from harmful substances. For eco-conscious buyers, look for suppliers offering GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified recycled polyester or organic cotton options.
Request the supplier to use Pantone Matching System (PMS) codes to ensure color consistency across different batches. Ask for Color Fastness to Light and Rubbing (Grade 4 or higher) test reports to ensure the caps won't fade under sun exposure or bleed when wet. It is highly recommended to order a pre-production sample (PPS) to verify the exact shade and embroidery placement before the full production run begins.
This is the most critical risk. Ensure you have the legal right or authorization to produce and export specific sports team logos or brand trademarks. When sourcing from Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have verified manufacturing capabilities. Avoid products that explicitly infringe on '47 Brand' trademarks unless you are an authorized distributor; instead, focus on customizing 'blank' caps with your own unique designs to ensure long-term business safety.
Negotiate based on tiered pricing; typically, a 1,000-unit order can reduce costs by 15-25% compared to a 100-unit MOQ. Discuss packaging optimization—shipping caps 'flat' or with cardboard inserts can significantly impact freight costs. For long-term partnerships, negotiate a 'Fixed Price Agreement' for 6-12 months to protect your margins against fluctuations in raw cotton prices.
For orders under 500 pieces, International Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is fastest but expensive. For larger wholesale volumes, Sea Freight (LCL - Less than Container Load) is the most economical, though it takes 30-45 days. A middle-ground option is Air Freight or 'Matson' Fast Sea Shipping, which balances cost and speed. Always ensure the supplier uses heavy-duty 5-layer corrugated export cartons to prevent the caps from being crushed during transit.
Always use Secure Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Hire a third-party inspection service (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a 'During Production' or 'Pre-Shipment Inspection' (PSI). They will check for AQL 2.5 standards, ensuring that the defect rate for stitching, sizing, and cleanliness is within acceptable limits before the balance payment is made.
