Chinese raw human hair manufacturers

Authentic Raw Human Hair is 100% unprocessed, meaning it has not undergone chemical steaming or acid baths. You can identify it by the intact, unidirectional cuticles which prevent tangling. Perform a burn test: real human hair will turn to ash and smell like burning protein, whereas synthetic blends will melt into a hard plastic bead. Additionally, raw hair should have a natural luster rather than a high-gloss synthetic shine.

Focus on the Hair Ratio, which indicates the percentage of full-length strands in a bundle; 'Double Drawn' hair is superior as it has a higher density of long hairs, providing thick ends. Check the weft construction—look for double-stitched or reinforced wefts to minimize shedding. For raw hair, the weight per bundle should be a standard 100g (±5g) to ensure consistency in volume.

Ensure the supplier follows sanitization protocols to eliminate bacteria or lice without damaging the hair structure. Request Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) if any organic dyes are used. For international trade, verify that the supplier can provide a Certificate of Origin and adheres to ISO 9001 for quality management systems to ensure batch-to-batch consistency.

Because the hair is chemically virgin, it possesses superior longevity, often lasting 2 to 5 years with proper care. It offers the highest bleaching and dyeing potential, typically capable of reaching #613 blonde without significant degradation. The elasticity and tensile strength are much higher than 'Remy' or processed hair, allowing it to withstand heat styling repeatedly.

The primary risk is 'Product Substitution', where suppliers mix raw hair with animal hair or synthetic fibers to lower costs. To mitigate this, always request a sample from a new batch and use third-party inspection services like SGS before final shipment. Another risk is weight fraud, where the net weight of the hair is less than advertised due to heavy packaging or rubber bands.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on hair length and ratio. Negotiate for a lower MOQ on sample orders to test quality before committing to bulk. Ask for 'Gold Supplier' verification on Made-in-China.com to ensure you are dealing with a legitimate factory. Request transparency on the sourcing region (e.g., Yunnan or Shandong) as hair texture varies by province.

Human hair is often subject to strict veterinary or health inspections in certain countries. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states '100% Human Hair' and includes the correct HS Code (6703.00). For urgent inventory needs, use air express (DHL/FedEx) which typically takes 3-7 days, but for large bulk orders, sea freight is more economical if you have a 30-day lead time buffer.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown personal accounts. Insist on a detailed Proforma Invoice (PI) that specifies the hair grade, length, weight, and return policy for quality discrepancies.
