Diwali festival manufacturers

When sourcing LED string lights or 'Diwali Diyas,' prioritize IP44 or IP65 waterproof ratings if they are intended for outdoor use. Ensure the wire material is 100% copper to prevent overheating and improve conductivity. For electronic candles, check for battery leakage protection and a minimum continuous working time of 48-72 hours. If purchasing smart LED strips, verify compatibility with Tuya or eWeLink protocols for app control.

For the US market, products must have UL or ETL certification and comply with FCC Part 15 for electromagnetic interference. For the EU market, CE marking (LVD and EMC directives) and RoHS compliance (restriction of hazardous substances) are mandatory. If shipping to India, ensure products meet BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) requirements, particularly for power adapters and LED drivers, to avoid customs seizures.

For brass lamps (Diyas) and idols, request a material composition analysis to ensure a high copper content and the absence of lead. For hand-painted items, verify the use of non-toxic, eco-friendly pigments. Ask for high-resolution production photos or a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to check for symmetry, smooth finishing, and stable bases to prevent fire hazards during use.

Fragile items require 5-layer corrugated outer cartons and custom-fit EPE foam or bubble wrap for internal cushioning. Request a drop test report (ISTA 1A or 2A) from the supplier to ensure the packaging can withstand international transit. For gift sets, ensure the retail packaging is aesthetically pleasing yet sturdy enough to prevent crushing during stacking in containers.

Diwali is a time-sensitive festival; you should place orders at least 4-5 months in advance. Account for the 'Golden Week' holiday in China (early October), which can cause significant shipping delays. Use Sea-Air multimodal transport if you miss the sea freight window, and always include a penalty clause in the contract for late deliveries that miss the festival date.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for seasonal goods, a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is standard. Negotiate for free spare parts (1-2%) for electronic items to cover potential DOA (Dead on Arrival) units. Highlight your long-term procurement plan for other festivals (like Christmas) to secure better priority in the production queue.

Always prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone third-party verification by companies like SGS or Intertek. Use Secured Payment services to protect your funds until shipping documents are verified. Avoid transferring money to private bank accounts; always use the company’s official corporate account as listed on their verified profile.

Ensure that decorative patterns, especially those involving religious deities or specific artistic designs, do not infringe on existing trademarks or copyrights. Request the supplier to provide an Authorization Letter if they are producing branded designs. For customs, ensure the HS Code is accurately classified (e.g., 9505.90 for festive articles) to avoid incorrect duty applications or delays.
