E bike 45 km h manufacturers

For high-speed E-bikes (S-Pedelecs), the motor power should typically be between 500W and 750W to maintain 45 km/h efficiently. Ensure the battery capacity is at least 48V 15Ah (720Wh) to compensate for the high energy consumption at top speeds. Additionally, hydraulic disc brakes are mandatory for safety at these speeds, and the frame must be reinforced aluminum alloy or carbon fiber to handle increased vibration and stress.

In the EU, these are classified as L1e-B mopeds and must have Type Approval (CoC - Certificate of Conformity) and comply with EN 15194 standards. For the US market, ensure the product meets UL 2849 certification for electrical system safety and follows CPSC 16 CFR Part 1512. Buyers must verify that the supplier provides ISO 4210 certification for frame and fork durability.

If the intended use is urban commuting, prioritize integrated lighting systems (ECE R113 compliant), fenders, and puncture-resistant tires. For off-road or delivery use, look for dual-suspension systems and mid-drive motors, which offer better torque and balance compared to hub motors. For fleet operations, ensure the controller supports IoT integration and GPS tracking.

Due to the higher kinetic energy, brake pads and tires wear out 30-50% faster. Buyers should source suppliers who offer readily available replacement parts like specialized high-speed chains and sprockets. Battery thermal management is also critical; ensure the BMS (Battery Management System) has overcharge and high-temperature protection to prolong cell life under high-discharge conditions.

The biggest risk is regulatory non-compliance, where customs may seize goods if they lack proper motor power labeling or safety certifications. Another risk is battery safety during transit; ensure the supplier provides a UN38.3 Test Report and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet). Always use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to mitigate payment risks and ensure the supplier is a Verified Manufacturer.

For 45 km/h models, MOQs typically range from 20 to 50 units due to specialized components. Negotiate for branding (OEM) on the frame and display at no extra cost for larger volumes. Request a 2-5% spare parts kit (including controllers, displays, and sensors) to be included in the initial bulk order to handle local warranty claims without shipping individual parts back to China.

E-bikes are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods. Sea freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical for bulk orders, but you must ensure the forwarder is experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling. For faster delivery to Europe, the China-Europe Railway Express is a viable middle-ground. Always clarify Incoterms; FOB (Free On Board) is recommended so you can control the freight costs and insurance through your own agent.

Request a factory audit report or a live video inspection of the production line via Made-in-China.com. Pay close attention to the battery cell brand (e.g., LG, Samsung, or reputable Chinese brands like EVE/Bak). Ask for a sample testing video showing the bike reaching 45 km/h on a dynamometer and a waterproof test (IPX5 or higher) for the electronic components.
