Elantra hyundai manufacturers

When sourcing parts for the Elantra, you must prioritize OEM compatibility and material integrity. For engine components, ensure they meet ISO/TS 16949 standards for automotive quality management. For body parts, verify the use of high-grade ABS plastics or galvanized steel to prevent premature corrosion. Always cross-reference the exact VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) or OEM Part Number (e.g., 26300-35505 for oil filters) to ensure a 100% fit, as specifications vary significantly between the CN7, AD, and MD generations.

Electrical parts such as headlamp assemblies or sensors must carry E-Mark (Europe) or DOT/SAE (North America) certifications to be legally sold and installed. Ensure that sensors (like Oxygen or TPMS sensors) utilize high-quality ceramic elements and Japanese-standard chips to maintain communication stability with the Hyundai ECU. Request electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing reports to prevent interference with the vehicle's onboard computer systems.

Brake pads should offer a friction coefficient (μ) between 0.35 and 0.45 and be low-metallic or ceramic to minimize noise and dust. For shock absorbers, look for nitrogen-filled twin-tube designs that have undergone 1 million cycle durability tests. Suppliers should provide salt spray test results (typically 240-480 hours) to prove rust resistance, which is critical for buyers in humid or coastal regions.

The Elantra is widely used for daily commuting and ride-sharing services, driving high demand for wear-and-tear items like cabin filters, spark plugs, and brake discs. For the modification market, focus on aerodynamic body kits (PP material) and LED ambient lighting kits that offer plug-and-play installation to avoid voiding the vehicle's original warranty. Customization should always support 3D scanning technology to ensure seamless integration with the car's contours.

The biggest risk is intellectual property (IP) infringement and counterfeit goods. Avoid parts that use the Hyundai logo without authorization unless they are genuine OEM surplus. Another risk is shipping damage for fragile items like windshields or bumpers; ensure the supplier uses reinforced five-layer corrugated boxes and wooden crates for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments.

Focus on tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for a sample consolidation service where the supplier sends a variety of small parts (filters, gaskets, spark plugs) in one box for quality appraisal. Demand a warranty period of at least 12-24 months for mechanical parts, and negotiate 1-3% defect allowance where the supplier provides extra units free of charge to cover potential shipping damages.

Always utilize Secured Trading services provided by the platform to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. For large wholesale orders, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). This inspection should verify the quantity, OEM numbers, and packaging integrity before the container is sealed.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties that some countries apply to specific auto parts like tires or aluminum wheels. Ensure the Commercial Invoice and Packing List clearly state the HS Codes (e.g., 8708 for parts and accessories) to expedite customs clearance. For sea freight, request moisture-proof packaging (desiccant bags) to protect metal components from oxidation during long transit times across different climate zones.
