Faw auto parts price manufacturers

To ensure you are purchasing genuine or high-quality aftermarket FAW parts, you must verify the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) part numbers against the vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Look for suppliers who provide ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 certifications, which are the global standards for automotive quality management. Always request material analysis reports and dimensional inspection sheets to ensure the parts meet the original factory specifications for fitment and durability.

For critical components like pistons, valves, or gears, focus on heat resistance, tensile strength, and surface hardness. Ensure that engine parts meet Euro IV, V, or VI emission standards depending on your local regulatory requirements. For transmission parts, verify the torque rating and gear ratios to ensure compatibility with specific FAW models like the J6, J7, or Tiger series. Precision machining tolerances should be within microns to prevent premature mechanical failure.

Compliance varies by region: for the European Union, parts must often carry the E-mark (ECE R90 for brake parts); for the United States, DOT (Department of Transportation) or SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) standards apply. Additionally, ensure all rubber and plastic components comply with REACH or RoHS to avoid hazardous substance restrictions. Always ask the supplier for Certificate of Conformity (CoC) to facilitate smooth customs clearance.

The price is primarily driven by raw material costs (steel, aluminum, and rubber) and order volume. Bulk purchasing typically yields discounts of 15-25% compared to small-batch orders. However, be wary of prices significantly below market average, as this often indicates remanufactured or sub-standard materials. For the best cost-efficiency, source from suppliers located in automotive clusters like Changchun or Zhejiang, where supply chain density reduces logistics overhead.

The most significant risks include incompatibility (wrong model year) and shipping damage. To mitigate these, require the supplier to use neutral, reinforced export packaging with moisture-proof lining. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure payment is only released after the goods pass a third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI).

Focus negotiations on warranty terms and defect rates. A professional supplier should offer a 12-month warranty or a 30,000-50,000 km quality guarantee. Negotiate for a spare parts allowance (usually 1-2%) to be included in bulk shipments to cover minor transit damages or small-scale defects without needing individual claims.

For heavy items like engine blocks or leaf springs, LCL (Less than Container Load) or FCL (Full Container Load) sea freight is the most economical. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list and HS Codes (typically starting with 8708) to avoid misclassification at customs. For urgent, smaller components like sensors or ECUs, international air express is preferred, but ensure they are packed in anti-static bags.
