Football trophy medal manufacturers

For professional-grade awards, Zinc Alloy is the industry standard due to its excellent durability and ability to capture intricate 3D details. For trophies, Resin is preferred for complex shapes and weight, while Crystal or Acrylic offers a premium, modern aesthetic. Ensure the supplier uses eco-friendly electroplating to prevent oxidation and maintain a long-lasting metallic shine.

Buyers should look for suppliers offering die-casting or die-striking for custom logos. Common finishes include Gold, Silver, and Bronze plating (antique or polished). For medals, sublimation printed ribbons allow for full-color branding. For trophies, ensure the base allows for laser-engraved nameplates or UV printing for specific tournament details.

Since medals are often handled by children, it is critical to ensure they are Lead-free and Nickel-free. Verify compliance with REACH (EU) or CPSIA (US) standards. Request SGS or Intertek test reports to confirm that the coatings and materials do not contain hazardous substances.

Request a Salt Spray Test report to ensure the plating won't peel or corrode during sea transit or in humid environments. For trophies, check the weight-to-size ratio; a heavier base usually indicates better stability and perceived value. Inspect the seams and polishing—high-quality awards should have no visible burrs or sharp edges.

Trophies, especially those made of resin or crystal, are highly fragile. Insist on customized molded foam (EPE) packaging and double-walled corrugated boxes. For bulk medal orders, ensure they are individually poly-bagged to prevent scratching during transit. Always include a fragile goods clause in your shipping contract.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; for medals, the unit cost drops significantly once you hit the 1,000+ unit threshold due to the fixed cost of the mold. Ask for a mold fee waiver if the order volume is high enough. Always verify the supplier's Audited Supplier status on Made-in-China.com to ensure factory legitimacy.

If you are using a famous club logo or tournament branding, you must provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA). Professional suppliers will refuse to produce trademarked logos without proof of rights. Ensure your contract includes a confidentiality clause to prevent the supplier from selling your custom designs to other buyers.

Production usually takes 15-25 days depending on complexity. For large events, use Sea Freight (FOB/CIF) to save costs, but allow at least 45-60 days for the total cycle. If you have a tight deadline, Air Freight is faster but can be expensive due to the weight of metal awards; consider a split shipment (small portion by air, bulk by sea).
