Hyundai expansion valve manufacturers

When selecting an expansion valve, you must verify the OEM Part Number (e.g., 97604-series) to ensure 100% compatibility with specific Hyundai models like the Elantra, Santa Fe, or Tucson. Key technical factors include the refrigerant type (typically R134a or R1234yf), the superheat setting accuracy, and the material composition—high-quality valves should be made of forged aluminum or brass to resist corrosion and withstand high-pressure fluctuations within the AC system.

Prioritize suppliers who conduct 100% leakage testing and performance calibration before shipping. Look for products that meet ISO/TS 16949 or IATF 16949 automotive quality management standards. A durable valve should demonstrate stable flow control under varying thermal loads and have a high-precision sensing bulb to prevent evaporator freezing or compressor liquid slugging.

These valves are primarily used in automotive HVAC systems for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Compatibility is not just about the car model but also the evaporator type and connection style (e.g., flange mount vs. block type). Ensure the supplier provides detailed technical drawings or CAD files to confirm that the inlet and outlet diameters match the existing AC lines of the specific Hyundai year-model.

For international trade, ensure the products comply with SAE J2776 standards for refrigerant purity and component integrity. If exporting to the EU, REACH and RoHS compliance regarding chemical substances in metal alloys is essential. For the US market, ensure the components align with EPA regulations regarding mobile air conditioning systems.

To avoid 'copycat' parts, use Made-in-China.com to identify Audited Suppliers who have undergone third-party verification by SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Always request material analysis reports and batch testing certificates. Avoid deals that are significantly below market price, as they often use inferior internal springs or diaphragms that lead to premature AC system failure.

Focus on MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) flexibility for initial trial orders to test failure rates. Negotiate for a warranty period of at least 12-24 months, which is standard for professional-grade aftermarket parts. Discuss packaging customization (neutral vs. branded) early, as robust packaging is vital to prevent damage to the sensitive capillary tubes during international transit.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure payment is only released upon confirmation of shipment. For large volumes, consider hiring a third-party inspection service to perform a 'During Production Check' (DUPRO) or a 'Final Random Inspection' (FRI) at the factory to verify quantity and quality before the balance payment is made.

Since expansion valves are relatively small and high-value, Air Freight or Express Courier (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is often preferred for small to medium batches to maintain low inventory levels and fast turnover. For bulk wholesale, LCL (Less than Container Load) Sea Freight is more cost-effective. Ensure the supplier provides an HS Code (typically 8481.80) for accurate customs duty calculation and smooth clearance.
