Indian human hair wigs manufacturers

Authentic Indian Remy hair is characterized by intact cuticles running in the same direction, which prevents tangling and ensures a natural sheen. You should perform a burn test (human hair turns to ash and smells like burnt protein, while synthetic melts into a hard bead) and a cuticle feel test (sliding fingers up and down the hair shaft to feel for resistance). Ensure the supplier provides 100% human hair certification to avoid 'floor hair' or chemical-processed non-Remy hair.

Focus on Lace Type, Density, and Cap Construction. For a natural look, prioritize HD Lace or Swiss Lace which blends seamlessly with various skin tones. Standard density for a natural look is 150% to 180%, while 200%+ is used for extra volume. Ensure the cap features adjustable straps and combs for security, and check if the knots are pre-bleached and the hairline is pre-plucked to reduce post-purchase labor.

Since hair is a biological product, it must undergo strict fumigation and disinfection processes. Request a Fumigation Certificate and a Veterinary Health Certificate (often required for customs clearance in many countries). Additionally, ensure the hair has not been treated with harmful acid baths or toxic dyes, adhering to REACH or SGS chemical safety standards to prevent scalp irritation for the end-user.

Indian hair is prized for its versatility and thickness. A high-quality wig should last 12-24 months with proper care. Ask the supplier about the processing method; steam-processed textures (like body wave or deep curly) last longer than chemically permed ones. Maintenance involves sulfate-free shampoos and deep conditioning; suppliers should provide a detailed After-sales Care Guide to help your customers maximize the product lifespan.

The most common risk is 'weight fraud' or 'length mixing', where suppliers include shorter strands to meet the weight requirement. Always specify the Ratio of Long Hair (e.g., Double Drawn vs. Single Drawn). Another risk is synthetic mixing; to mitigate this, use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Services and request a pre-shipment inspection or a video call to see the specific batch being packed.

For startups, look for suppliers on Made-in-China.com that offer low MOQs (e.g., 2-5 pieces) for sample testing. When negotiating for bulk (50+ units), aim for a 10-20% discount off the sample price. Discuss tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order to build a long-term partnership. Always clarify if the price includes customized branding/packaging (silk bags, hangtags).

Human hair is often subject to strict customs inspections. Ensure the commercial invoice clearly states '100% Human Hair Wigs' and includes the correct HS Code (6704.20). For fast turnover, use express couriers like DHL or FedEx, which typically deliver within 3-5 business days. Be aware of import duties and VAT in your specific country; for example, US buyers should check for any specific Section 301 tariffs if applicable.

Never pay via untraceable methods. Utilize the Escrow or Trade Assurance services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are only released after you confirm receipt of the goods. For large orders, consider a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment structure after receiving a third-party quality inspection report.
