Motorcycle parts dayun factory manufacturers

When sourcing from a Dayun factory, you must provide the OEM part numbers or the specific engine model code (e.g., DY150-2, DY200). It is critical to verify the technical drawings and dimensions (such as bore size, gear teeth count, or mounting hole spacing) before production. For aftermarket parts, request a fitment test report to ensure the components align perfectly with the original chassis and electrical systems.

High-quality motorcycle parts should adhere to ISO 9001:2015 for general manufacturing. For critical safety components like brake pads, tires, or lighting, ensure they meet E-Mark (Europe) or DOT (USA) standards. Additionally, parts exported to China-standard markets should comply with CCC (China Compulsory Certification) to guarantee material strength and durability.

For engine components like pistons and valves, prioritize high-temperature resistant alloys and precision CNC machining. For body fairings, ABS plastic with UV-resistant coating is essential to prevent brittleness and fading. For structural frames or exhaust systems, ensure the use of stainless steel or anti-corrosion treated carbon steel to withstand diverse weather conditions.

Request a factory audit report or a video walkthrough of the production line. A legitimate factory should have specialized equipment like automated die-casting machines, robotic welding arms, and engine test benches. Check if the supplier is a Gold Member on Made-in-China.com, which indicates they have undergone third-party verification of their business license and manufacturing capabilities.

The primary risks include quality inconsistency between samples and bulk orders, and shipping damage to fragile items like plastic fairings or mirrors. To mitigate this, implement a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) and mandate reinforced packaging (e.g., double-corrugated boxes with foam inserts). Always use Trade Assurance services to protect your payment until the goods are verified.

Focus on Annual Volume Commitments rather than single-order quantities to secure a 10-15% price reduction. Negotiate for free spare parts (usually 1-2% of the order value) to cover potential defects. For long-term partners, request flexible payment terms such as 30% deposit and 70% against the Bill of Lading (B/L) to improve your cash flow.

Motorcycle batteries and shock absorbers (containing oil/gas) are classified as Dangerous Goods (DG) and require specific MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) for air or sea freight. For heavy engine assemblies, LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping is cost-effective, but ensure the factory provides fumigated wooden pallets to comply with international shipping regulations and avoid customs delays.
