Pineapple juice concentrate price manufacturers

When sourcing concentrate, the Brix level is the primary indicator of concentration; standard pineapple concentrate usually ranges from 60 to 65 Brix. You must also verify the Acidity percentage (typically 0.5% - 1.5%) and the Brix/Acid ratio, which determines the flavor profile. Ensure the product is free from added sugars, preservatives, or artificial colors to meet '100% Pure' labeling requirements.

To ensure compliance and consumer safety, prioritize suppliers with HACCP, ISO 22000, or FSSC 22000 food safety management certifications. For specific markets, SGF (Schutzgemeinschaft der Fruchtsaft-Industrie) certification is highly regarded in the juice industry. Additionally, verify if the supplier can provide Kosher or Halal certificates if your target demographic requires them.

The processing method is critical: Aseptic cold-filling is preferred for preserving organoleptic properties (taste and aroma). Check the Total Plate Count (TPC) and yeast/mold counts to ensure they fall within safety limits (e.g., TPC <1000 cfu/g). For storage, most concentrates require frozen storage at -18°C to maintain a shelf life of 18-24 months, though some aseptic packs can be stored at ambient temperatures.

The Smooth Cayenne variety from Thailand or the Philippines is known for high sugar content and consistent quality, often commanding a premium. MD2 (Golden) variety concentrates offer a more vibrant yellow color and lower acidity. Prices fluctuate based on seasonal harvests, weather conditions in major growing regions, and global shipping container availability.

The biggest risks include Cold Chain Failure, which can lead to fermentation or spoilage, and Adulteration, where cheaper sugars or juices are added. To mitigate this, always request a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch. Using Made-in-China.com's audited suppliers can help verify the legitimacy of the manufacturing facility.

For bulk juice, prices are often quoted in Metric Tons (MT). Negotiate based on Volume Tiers; ordering a full 20ft container (approx. 70-80 drums) usually yields a 10-15% discount compared to LCL. For payment, use Letter of Credit (L/C) or Escrow services for first-time orders to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipping documents.

Standard packaging is 200L-250kg steel drums with aseptic bags inside. Ensure the supplier uses Reefer Containers (Refrigerated) for non-aseptic products. Clearly define Incoterms (e.g., CIF vs. FOB); for liquid perishables, CIF is often preferred for new buyers as the seller handles insurance and freight to your port.

Check your local Customs and FDA (or equivalent) requirements for fruit juice imports. You will typically need a Phytosanitary Certificate, a Certificate of Origin, and detailed Ingredient Labels in the destination country's language. Failure to provide these can lead to expensive port delays or cargo seizure.
