Pvc wooden broom stick manufacturers

When evaluating quality, focus on the wood core material (typically eucalyptus for its strength-to-weight ratio), the PVC coating thickness (ideally 0.45mm to 0.65mm to prevent peeling), and the moisture content (should be between 8% and 15% to prevent warping or mold). Ensure the straightness rate is high, with a bending tolerance of less than 5mm per meter.

The screw thread is a critical failure point; verify if it is an Italian thread, American thread, or Greek thread to match your market's broom heads. The plastic caps should be made of virgin PP or PE material rather than recycled plastics to ensure they don't crack under pressure. Request a pull-out force test to ensure the cap remains securely attached to the wooden pole.

For international trade, look for FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification to ensure the wood is sustainably sourced. If exporting to the EU, ensure the PVC coating is REACH compliant (free of harmful phthalates). For the US market, check for EPA regulations regarding wood treatments. Always request a Phytosanitary Certificate to clear customs smoothly and prevent pest transmission.

PVC wooden sticks are versatile for indoor household cleaning, outdoor garden maintenance, and industrial sanitation. Functional variations include telescopic designs for space-saving or heavy-duty reinforced cores for construction site use. The surface can be smooth, ribbed, or patterned to provide better grip depending on the end-user's environment.

The biggest risks are warping due to humidity changes during sea transit and customs rejection due to lack of proper fumigation. To mitigate this, ensure the supplier uses silica gel desiccant in the container and provides a valid Fumigation/Disinfection Certificate. Additionally, verify the loading quantity to ensure the sticks are packed tightly to prevent breakage but allow for some air circulation.

Standard MOQs usually range from 5,000 to 10,000 pieces. To get the best price, negotiate based on Full Container Load (FCL) quantities, as shipping LCL (Less than Container Load) for low-value, high-volume items like broom sticks is not cost-effective. Ask for a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 5-10% when moving from a 20GP to a 40HQ container.

Always use secured payment terms such as a Letter of Credit (L/C) for very large orders or Trade Terms via Made-in-China.com to protect your deposit. Conduct a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) through a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify the quantity, moisture levels, and screw compatibility before the final balance is paid.

Due to the length and weight of the sticks, sea freight is the only economically viable option. For North American or European destinations, use FOB (Free On Board) terms if you have a reliable freight forwarder, or CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) if you want the supplier to handle logistics. Ensure the HS Code (typically 441700) is correctly declared to avoid tariff penalties.
