Scooter carburetor price manufacturers

When sourcing scooter carburetors, you must match the Venturi Diameter (e.g., 17.5mm, 19mm, 24mm) to the engine displacement (50cc to 300cc). Ensure the body is made of high-grade Zinc or Aluminum alloy to prevent fuel corrosion. Key performance indicators include jetting precision, float needle durability, and the inclusion of an automatic or manual choke system. For B2B buyers, prioritizing suppliers who provide ISO 9001 certified production ensures consistent fuel-air mixture ratios across bulk batches.

Compliance is non-negotiable for street-legal vehicles. For the US market, carburetors must often meet EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) or CARB (California Air Resources Board) emission standards. For the European market, adherence to Euro 4 or Euro 5 emission levels is essential. Ensure the supplier provides CE marking and documentation proving the alloy materials are RoHS compliant, meaning they are free from hazardous substances like lead or cadmium.

The price is primarily driven by material costs (Zinc vs. Aluminum) and machining precision. A standard replacement carburetor may range from $5 to $15 USD for bulk orders, while high-performance racing versions (e.g., flat-slide types) can exceed $30 USD. To optimize costs, look for MOQs of 100-500 units to trigger tier-one discounts. Always factor in the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), including the cost of potential returns if the failure rate exceeds 0.5%.

Request a pre-shipment inspection report that includes a leakage test and a flow bench test to verify air-fuel mixing efficiency. It is highly recommended to ask for samples for dyno-testing on specific scooter models (e.g., GY6 or Minarelli engines). Reliable suppliers on Made-in-China.com will often provide video proof of ultrasonic cleaning processes to ensure no metal shavings remain in the fuel circuits.

The primary risk is specification mismatch, where the carburetor mounting flange or throttle cable connection does not fit the target scooter model. Mitigate this by requesting detailed technical drawings (PDF/CAD) before payment. Another risk is transaction insecurity; always use Secure Payment services on Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after the goods pass inspection and shipping milestones.

Focus negotiations on long-term quality stability rather than just the lowest price. Ask for a 12-month quality warranty and negotiate for 2% spare parts (jets, gaskets, needles) to be included free of charge in bulk shipments. If you are a repeat buyer, negotiate for Net-30 or Net-60 payment terms to improve your cash flow, leveraging your purchase history on the platform.

Carburetors are sensitive to moisture and impact. Ensure the supplier uses individual neutral box packaging with anti-rust VCI bags. For shipping to the US or Europe, Sea Freight (LCL) is most cost-effective for large volumes, but ensure the Incoterms are clearly defined (FOB or DAP). For urgent stock, Air Freight is viable, but ensure the carburetors are completely free of residual testing fuel to comply with airline hazardous material regulations.
