Sex tool and toys manufacturers

Safety is the highest priority in this category. You must ensure products are made from medical-grade silicone, TPE, or ABS plastic. Avoid materials containing phthalates, lead, or heavy metals, as these can cause allergic reactions or toxicity. Always request RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and REACH compliance certificates to ensure the chemical composition meets international safety benchmarks for skin-contact items.

For any device with a battery or charging capability, you must verify CE (for Europe), FCC (for the US), and UL (for electrical safety) certifications. Additionally, ensure the batteries have UN38.3 and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) reports, which are essential for safe international shipping and customs clearance.

Look for an IPX7 rating, which guarantees the product can be submerged in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. For motor quality, request the decibel (dB) level; high-quality motors should operate at less than 50dB to ensure discretion. Ask the supplier for motor lifespan test reports, typically aiming for at least 200-300 hours of continuous operation.

When developing a private brand, focus on mold ownership and exclusivity agreements. Ensure the supplier can provide customized packaging that is discreet yet compliant with local labeling laws. The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) for custom colors or logos usually ranges from 500 to 1,000 units, so negotiate a tiered pricing structure based on your scaling needs.

Customs regulations for adult toys vary significantly by country. Some regions classify them as 'medical devices' while others may have strict obscenity laws. Always use neutral descriptions on shipping manifests (e.g., 'Massager' or 'Silicone Crafts') and ensure the HS Code (typically 9019.10 or 3926.90) is accurately applied to avoid seizures or heavy fines.

To mitigate financial risk, utilize Trade Assurance services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com. Never pay 100% upfront; a standard industry practice is a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after a successful third-party pre-shipment inspection (PSI). This ensures the goods meet your quality standards before the final funds are released.

Request 'Blind Packaging' where the outer cartons have no branding, images, or text indicating the contents. For shipping to the US or Europe, consider sea-plus-delivery (DDP) services to simplify the tax and duty process. Ensure the supplier uses sturdy, double-walled corrugated boxes to prevent damage to the delicate internal retail packaging during long-transit hauls.

Prioritize suppliers on Made-in-China.com that have the 'Audited Supplier' badge. Request a video factory tour to inspect their dust-free assembly lines and quality control labs. A legitimate manufacturer should be able to provide a Business License that matches their bank account name and show a history of exports to your target market.
