Sex toy for man manufacturers

Safety is paramount as these products have prolonged skin contact. You must ensure the materials are medical-grade silicone, TPE, or ABS plastic. Specifically, verify that the products are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and latex-free to prevent allergic reactions or chemical leaching. Request RoHS and REACH certification reports from the supplier to ensure compliance with international chemical safety standards.

For motorized items like vibrators or automatic masturbators, focus on motor noise levels (ideally <50dB), battery capacity (mAh), and waterproof ratings (IPX7 is the industry standard for easy cleaning). Additionally, check for USB magnetic charging capabilities, as they offer better durability and water resistance than traditional DC ports.

Request the supplier to provide cycle test data for motors and stretch tests for TPE/silicone sleeves. A high-quality internal sleeve should withstand at least 300% elongation without tearing. For electronic components, ask if the factory performs a 4-hour aging test on every unit before packaging to reduce the DOA (Dead on Arrival) rate.

For the US market, FDA registration for the manufacturer is often required if the product is marketed as a medical device, along with FCC for electronic components. For the EU market, CE marking and WEEE compliance are mandatory. Ensure the supplier provides a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) that matches the specific model you are purchasing.

Adult products can be sensitive in certain regions. Ensure the supplier uses neutral packaging without explicit imagery or text. Use accurate but professional HS codes, such as 901910 (Massage apparatus) or 392690 (Other articles of plastics), to avoid unnecessary inspections. Always check the local import laws of the destination country, as some regions have strict prohibitions on 'obscene' materials.

Start by requesting a sample order to verify material texture and motor strength. When moving to bulk, negotiate a staggered payment (e.g., 30% deposit, 70% against B/L). For OEM/ODM projects, clearly define Private Labeling (logo printing and custom box design) costs upfront, as these can significantly impact your margin if not settled early.

Utilize Secured Trading Services on Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until shipment is confirmed. It is highly recommended to hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). They will check for cosmetic defects, functional failures, and ensure the battery safety labels are correctly applied.

For small batches or high-value electronics, Air Express (DHL/FedEx) is preferred for speed and tracking. However, because these items contain lithium batteries, they must be shipped under UN38.3 regulations with proper dangerous goods documentation. For large volume orders, Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) is most cost-effective, but ensure the warehouse is temperature-controlled to prevent TPE/silicone degradation during transit.
