Silicone rubber coin purse manufacturers

Ensure the supplier uses 100% food-grade silicone that is BPA-free and LFGB or FDA compliant. The material should have a shore hardness of 40-60A to balance flexibility with structural integrity. High-quality silicone should be non-toxic, odorless, and resistant to extreme temperatures, ensuring the purse does not become brittle or sticky over time.

Focus on the closure mechanism, such as stainless steel kiss-lock frames or heavy-duty nylon zippers, which should undergo cycle testing (min. 5,000 opens/closes). Look for seamless injection molding technology to prevent tearing at stress points. Additionally, verify if the surface has an anti-static oil coating to prevent dust absorption, a common issue with silicone products.

Request EN71-3 (Safety of Toys) certification if the product is marketed toward children, and REACH compliance for the European market. Conduct a tension test on the attachment points (like keychains or straps) to ensure they can withstand at least 5-10kg of pulling force. Ask for colorfastness reports to ensure pigments do not leach when exposed to sweat or water.

Suppliers typically offer Pantone color matching (PMS), silk-screen printing, debossed or embossed logos, and custom 3D shapes. For high-volume orders, ensure the supplier can provide custom mold development with a clear mold ownership agreement. Digital mockups should be provided within 24-48 hours for approval.

Always utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to perform a During Production Check (DUPRO) and a Final Random Inspection (FRI). On Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone comprehensive on-site verification by independent bodies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland.

Negotiate based on Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. For silicone items, MOQs are often negotiable (typically 500-1,000 units) if you choose standard colors already in production. Request a tiered pricing structure where the unit price drops by 10-15% as volume doubles, and ask for sample cost rebates upon placing a bulk order.

Since coin purses are lightweight but can be bulky, calculate the volumetric weight carefully. For small batches, Air Express (DDP) is fastest, but for large volumes, Sea Freight (LCL) is more economical. Ensure the outer cartons are double-walled corrugated fiberboard to prevent crushing, and use moisture-proof desiccant bags inside the master polybags.

Use Secured Payment services provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct wire transfers to private bank accounts. Always draft a Sales Contract that clearly defines Lead Times, Defect Rates (AQL 2.5/4.0), and Dispute Resolution protocols.
