Stainless steel water trolley manufacturers

When sourcing, prioritize Grade 304 stainless steel for standard food-grade or medical use, as it offers excellent corrosion resistance. For high-salinity or chemical environments, Grade 316 is recommended. Ensure the thickness of the steel sheets is at least 0.8mm to 1.2mm to prevent warping under the weight of full water containers.

Check for reinforced welding points (preferably TIG welding) rather than simple spot welding. The trolley should have a static load capacity clearly stated, typically ranging from 100kg to 500kg. Look for U-shaped frame designs which provide better structural stability than bolt-together kits for heavy-duty water transport.

The wheels are the most common failure point. Specify medical-grade TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) or Polyurethane (PU) wheels to ensure silent operation and floor protection. Ensure at least two wheels feature total-lock brakes and that the bearings are double-ball bearing types for smooth 360-degree rotation under full load.

For food service or healthcare, ensure the supplier provides NSF Certification or ISO 22000. If the trolley is used in medical settings, CE marking and FDA registration may be required. Always request a Material Test Report (MTR) to verify the chemical composition of the stainless steel (nickel and chromium content).

This is a common risk in cross-border sourcing. Request a chemical spot test video from the supplier or hire a third-party inspector like SGS or Intertek to perform a PMI (Positive Material Identification) test before the final balance payment is made.

Stainless steel trolleys are 'volumetric' cargo. To save on freight, source knock-down (KD) designs that can be flat-packed. This can reduce shipping volume by up to 70%. Ensure the supplier provides detailed assembly instructions and all necessary tools within the packaging.

Use a 30/70 payment structure: 30% deposit to start production and 70% balance payable only after a successful pre-shipment inspection. For large B2B orders, conducting the transaction through Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading Service provides an extra layer of escrow protection.

Stainless steel is prone to scratching and denting. Insist on laser-film protection on all polished surfaces. The outer packaging should be 5-layer corrugated cardboard with internal foam corner protectors and wooden crates for LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments to prevent crushing.
