Stickers for kids manufacturers

Safety is the highest priority for children's products. You must ensure the stickers comply with EN71 (Parts 1, 2, and 3) for the European market and ASTM F963-17 or CPSIA for the United States. These certifications guarantee the products are free from lead, phthalates, and other hazardous substances. Always request Physical and Chemical Test Reports from the supplier to verify that the adhesives and inks are non-toxic and skin-safe.

The choice depends on the application. For reusable educational books, choose Static Cling PVC which uses no glue. For water bottles or lunch boxes, specify Waterproof Vinyl (PVC or PET) with a UV-resistant laminate to prevent fading. For standard decorative use, Coated Paper is the most cost-effective option. Ensure the adhesive is labeled as 'Removable' if you want to avoid residue on furniture, or 'Permanent' for long-lasting DIY crafts.

To ensure high-quality visuals, require a printing resolution of at least 300 DPI and use CMYK or Pantone color matching. For durability, specify the micron thickness (typically 80-100 microns for vinyl). Ask for Die-cutting precision (usually within a ±0.5mm tolerance) to ensure the stickers peel off easily without tearing. Surface finishing like Glossy, Matte, or Holographic lamination not only adds aesthetic value but also provides a protective layer against scratches and moisture.

Beyond standard shapes, you can request Custom Die-Cut shapes that follow the artwork's contour. Advanced techniques include 3D Puffy (Foam) stickers, Glow-in-the-dark inks, Scented (Scratch-and-Sniff) coatings, and Glitter finishes. For packaging, consider Custom Header Cards or Blind Bag packaging to enhance the unboxing experience and retail appeal.

Stickers often feature cartoon characters or branded logos. Never import stickers featuring copyrighted characters (e.g., Disney, Marvel) unless the supplier provides a valid Licensing Authorization Letter. Customs authorities frequently seize counterfeit goods, which can lead to heavy fines and the destruction of your shipment. Focus on Original Designs or ensure your supplier has a clean IP track record on Made-in-China.com.

Stickers are high-volume, low-margin items. To get the best price, consolidate multiple designs into a single production run to meet the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), which usually ranges from 1,000 to 5,000 pieces per design. Negotiate based on Total Order Volume rather than individual SKU price. For long-term partnerships, ask for Free Sampling for future designs and a 5-10% discount on repeat orders.

Since stickers are relatively heavy but low-volume (high density), Sea Freight (LCL) is the most economical for large bulk orders (over 200kg). However, for smaller trial orders, Air Express (DHL/FedEx/UPS) is preferred as it takes only 3-7 days and simplifies customs clearance. Always clarify the Incoterms; FOB (Free On Board) is recommended if you have your own forwarder, while DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) is best for beginners as the supplier handles all taxes and import duties.

Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after delivery confirmation. To maintain quality, hire a Third-Party Inspection service to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). They will check for color consistency, adhesive strength, and quantity accuracy, preventing the risk of receiving sub-standard goods after the full payment is made.
