Suzuki f10a engine for sale manufacturers

The Suzuki F10A is a 970cc 4-cylinder, 8-valve SOHC engine. When sourcing, you must confirm the bore and stroke (65.5 mm x 72.0 mm) and the compression ratio to ensure it matches your specific vehicle model (e.g., Suzuki Carry, Super Carry, or Bedford Rascal). Additionally, verify if the engine is a carburetor or EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) version, as this significantly impacts compatibility with existing wiring harnesses.

Prioritize suppliers who provide compression test reports for each unit. For 'New' engines, ensure they are manufactured in ISO/TS16949 certified facilities. For 'Rebuilt' or 'Used' engines, check for new piston rings, bearings, and gaskets. It is critical to request a video of the engine running or a leak-down test result before finalizing the shipment to prevent receiving a 'dead on arrival' unit.

Depending on your destination country, the engine must meet specific Euro emission standards (Euro 2 to Euro 4). Ensure the supplier provides a Certificate of Origin and a Technical Data Sheet. For the US market, verify if the engine is for 'off-road use' or if it meets EPA requirements. For the EU, check for CE marking on related components if sold as a complete assembly.

The F10A is highly sought after for fleet maintenance of light commercial vehicles, mini-truck restorations, and as a reliable power source for forklifts and small generators. Its compact design also makes it a popular choice for marine conversions and agricultural machinery in emerging markets.

Engines must be shipped in fumigated solid wooden crates or heavy-duty plywood boxes to prevent damage and comply with international shipping regulations. Ensure the engine is completely drained of all fluids (oil and coolant) to avoid being classified as hazardous cargo, which can lead to significant fines or customs delays.

Focus on Warranty Terms and After-Sales Support. A standard professional supplier should offer at least a 6 to 12-month warranty. Negotiate for spare parts kits (such as oil filters, spark plugs, and belts) to be included in bulk orders. For large volumes, request tiered pricing where the unit cost drops by 10-15% for orders exceeding 10 units.

Always use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are only released after the goods are shipped. Consider hiring a third-party inspection service (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a pre-shipment inspection (PSI) to verify the Engine Serial Number and physical condition against the proforma invoice.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties or specific Automotive Import Tariffs in your country. You must provide the correct HS Code (typically 840733) for spark-ignition internal combustion piston engines. Ensure the supplier includes a detailed Packing List and a Commercial Invoice that clearly states the engine condition (New or Used) to avoid valuation disputes at customs.
