Taekwondo training equipment manufacturers

When sourcing Taekwondo protectors (hogu), headgear, and shin guards, prioritize high-density EVA foam for shock absorption and PU leather (polyurethane) for the outer shell to ensure durability and easy cleaning. For electronic scoring systems (PSS) compatibility, ensure the gear features integrated sensor pockets that meet World Taekwondo (WT) standards. The stitching should be reinforced double-stitching to prevent tearing during high-intensity sparring.

For the European market, products must carry the CE Marking and comply with EN 13277 (Protective equipment for martial arts). For the US market, ensure materials are BPA-free and phthalate-free in accordance with CPSIA if targeting youth practitioners. If you are supplying professional athletes, look for WT (World Taekwondo) Approved stamps, which guarantee the equipment meets international competition safety benchmarks.

Focus on the Shore Hardness rating, typically between 35-45 degrees for Taekwondo to balance cushioning and foot stability. The mats should feature a T-pattern or cross-pattern surface to provide anti-slip properties. Ensure the material is closed-cell EVA foam, which is waterproof and prevents bacteria buildup. Request a flame retardant certification (e.g., ASTM D2859 or EN 13501-1) for indoor facility compliance.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer silk-screen printing or embroidery for club logos on uniforms (Doboks) and gear. You can also request custom colorways (beyond the standard red/blue) and private labeling for retail packaging. For uniforms, specify the fabric blend ratio (e.g., 65% polyester/35% cotton) to achieve the desired balance of breathability and 'snap' sound during movements.

Always request a pre-production sample to verify the density of the padding and the quality of the Velcro closures. Utilize third-party inspection services (like SGS or Intertek) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI) before the balance payment is made. This ensures the bulk order matches the approved sample's specifications.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for example, aim for a 15-20% discount when moving from 100 sets to 500 sets. Negotiate for spare parts (like extra elastic straps or bag carrying cases) to be included at no extra cost. For long-term partnerships, request exclusivity clauses for specific custom designs to protect your brand's market position.

For bulky items, Sea Freight (LCL or FCL) is the most economical choice. Use FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your shipping costs and choose your own freight forwarder. Ensure the supplier uses vacuum packaging for uniforms and compressed stacking for mats to reduce the total CBM (Cubic Meter) and lower your landed cost.

Conduct all transactions through secured payment channels provided by reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer trade security services. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualifications to ensure they are a legitimate manufacturer rather than a middleman with no quality control.
