Turkish tea cup exporters manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize high-quality soda-lime glass or borosilicate glass for transparency and thermal shock resistance. For premium segments, ensure the use of lead-free crystal to meet health safety standards. If the cups feature metallic rims or patterns, verify that 24K gold or platinum gilding is applied using high-temperature firing to prevent peeling and ensure they are food-grade certified.

Since these products come into contact with food, they must comply with FDA (U.S.) or EC 1935/2004 (EU) regulations regarding lead and cadmium leaching. Ensure the supplier provides SGS or Intertek test reports. For sets including saucers or metal holders, check for LFGB compliance to ensure no harmful substances migrate to the tea.

Request a thermal shock resistance test report, typically requiring the glass to withstand a temperature difference of at least 60°C to 90°C without cracking. For double-walled designs, verify the vacuum seal integrity at the bottom. Additionally, confirm if the decorations are dishwasher-safe by checking the results of a 50-cycle industrial wash test.

Top-tier exporters should offer custom logo printing (decal or laser), bespoke gift box packaging with silk lining, and the ability to adjust glass thickness and weight. Professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com often provide 3D prototyping for unique handle designs or saucer shapes to align with specific brand aesthetics.

Glassware is highly fragile; therefore, you must mandate 5-layer corrugated export cartons and individual bubble wrapping or molded foam inserts (EPE). Ensure the supplier uses palletized shipping with shrink wrap and corner protectors to minimize manual handling. It is highly recommended to include a fragile goods clause in your contract and purchase All-Risk cargo insurance.

Focus on the Total Landed Cost rather than just the unit price. Negotiate for a lower MOQ on trial orders to test market response, but seek 15-20% volume discounts for full container loads (FCL). Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to ensure that payments are only released after the Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) is passed.

Confirm the HS Code (typically 7013 for glassware) to calculate accurate import duties. Ensure the exporter provides a detailed Packing List and a Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential trade agreements. For shipping to Europe or North America, choose FCL (Full Container Load) over LCL whenever possible to reduce the risk of crushing by other heavy cargo in a shared container.

Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Qualification. Prioritize Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com, as they have undergone third-party onsite verification. Use Letter of Credit (L/C) for large transactions or Escrow-based payment systems to protect your capital until the goods are verified against the agreed-upon Golden Sample.
