Vietnam grain dryer factory manufacturers

When selecting a grain dryer, prioritize heat source compatibility (biomass, husk, or gas) to ensure low operational costs. Key specs include drying capacity (tons/batch), moisture reduction rate (typically 1-1.5% per hour), and uniformity of drying to prevent grain cracking. Ensure the factory provides PLC automated control systems for precise temperature management, which is critical for maintaining the quality of rice and maize.

Suppliers should ideally hold ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. For the Vietnamese market and international export, verify CE certification for electrical safety and local environmental compliance regarding dust emissions. Ensure the factory provides pressure vessel certificates if the system uses steam boilers, and check for noise level compliance (typically <85dB) for worker safety.

Vietnam's high humidity requires dryers with robust dehumidification capabilities and corrosion-resistant coatings (such as galvanized steel or stainless steel) to prevent rust. Recirculating batch dryers are often preferred over continuous flow dryers for smaller cooperatives because they handle varying initial moisture levels more effectively during the monsoon season.

A professional factory should offer a comprehensive maintenance kit including spare belts, bearings, and sensors. Look for designs that allow easy access to the elevator and discharge sections for cleaning to prevent grain cross-contamination. Annual calibration of moisture sensors and inspection of the burner system are mandatory to ensure energy efficiency and fire safety.

The main risks include damage during maritime transit, non-compliance with local electrical grids (voltage/frequency), and lack of local technical support. To mitigate these, use Professional Third-Party Inspection (like SGS or Intertek) before shipment and ensure the contract specifies seaworthy packaging (vacuum plastic wrapping and steel frame fixing).

Utilize Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to protect your payment. Negotiate a staged payment plan: typically 30% deposit, 60% after successful FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) video verification, and 10% after installation/commissioning. Demand a minimum 12-24 month warranty on core components like motors and burners.

Due to the bulkiness, use 40ft HQ containers or Flat Rack containers for oversized furnace parts. For shipments to Vietnam, FOB (Free On Board) is recommended if you have a local forwarder in Hai Phong or Ho Chi Minh City to manage customs. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed packing list and HS Code (typically 841931) to avoid delays at Vietnamese customs.

Ask the supplier if they have existing projects in Vietnam (e.g., in the Mekong Delta region) and request references. Confirm if they can send technical engineers for on-site installation or if they provide detailed 3D installation videos and remote AR support. A reliable factory should offer 24/7 online technical troubleshooting to minimize downtime during peak harvest seasons.
