Wholesale bathroom cabinets manufacturers

When sourcing bathroom cabinets, material selection is critical for longevity. Prioritize Solid Wood (Oak or Rubberwood) for high-end durability, or Plywood with a waterproof veneer for a balance of cost and stability. Avoid low-grade MDF; instead, look for High-Density Fiberboard (HDF) or PVC boards if the cabinets will be in direct contact with water. Ensure all materials meet E1 or CARB Phase 2 formaldehyde emission standards to guarantee indoor air quality.

The lifespan of a cabinet is often determined by its hardware. Specify 304 Stainless Steel hinges to prevent rusting in humid conditions. Demand soft-close mechanisms for both doors and drawers to enhance the user experience and prevent structural wear. For wholesale orders, verify that drawer slides are under-mount and full-extension, rated for at least 30kg load capacity and tested for 50,000 open-close cycles.

Look for cabinets utilizing multi-layer eco-friendly painting processes (typically 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of topcoat). The finish should be UV-cured or PU-painted to provide a hard, scratch-resistant surface that prevents moisture penetration. For modern styles, seamless PVC thermal foil wrapping is an excellent option as it eliminates edges where peeling usually begins.

For the US market, ensure compliance with EPA TSCA Title VI. For European markets, CE marking and EN 14749 (safety requirements for storage furniture) are essential. If the cabinet includes integrated LED mirrors or sockets, they must carry UL, ETL, or CE-LVD/EMC certifications to pass customs and meet local electrical safety codes.

Bathroom cabinets are fragile, especially those with ceramic basins or stone tops. Insist on 5-layer corrugated export cartons with honeycomb board or high-density foam (EPS/EPE) protection on all six sides. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, require wooden crates or palletization to prevent crushing. Always request a drop test report (ISTA 1A or 3A) from the supplier before mass production.

Start by requesting a tiered pricing structure based on volume (e.g., 20ft vs. 40ft container). To lower the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ), suggest using the supplier's standard catalog colors and sizes, which allows them to combine your order with others. Mention your long-term procurement plan to secure Gold Member supplier discounts and ask for a sample fee rebate upon the placement of your first full-container order.

Utilize Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure payment safety. Never wire the full amount upfront; the industry standard is a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy. For new suppliers, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify quantity and quality before the final payment is released.

Given the volume of cabinets, FOB (Free On Board) is usually the most cost-effective Incoterm, allowing you to control freight costs through your own forwarder. Ensure the supplier provides a detailed Packing List, Commercial Invoice, and Certificate of Origin to benefit from potential trade agreement duty reductions. If shipping to the US, be mindful of Anti-Dumping Duties (ADD) on certain wooden cabinetry originating from specific regions; always verify the HS Code (typically 9403.60) with a customs broker first.
