Wholesale electric water gun manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize battery capacity (mAh) and waterproof ratings (IPX6 or higher) to ensure longevity and safety. Look for models with a high-torque motor for a consistent firing range of 8-12 meters. Additionally, verify the tank capacity (ml) and whether the unit supports automatic water absorption, which is a high-demand feature in the current market.

As these are categorized as toys, they must comply with EN71 (Europe), ASTM F963 (USA), and CPC (Children's Product Certificate). Ensure the materials used are BPA-free ABS plastic. For the electronic components, CE, RoHS, and UN38.3 (for lithium battery transport) certifications are non-negotiable to pass customs and meet platform requirements.

Request a drop test report to ensure the plastic casing does not crack easily. Check the sealing mechanism of the battery compartment; it must have a thickened rubber gasket to prevent short-circuiting during water play. For high-end models, look for integrated circuit protection to prevent overcharging or motor burnout.

Electric water guns are trending in outdoor summer entertainment, pool parties, and beach tourism retail. They are also popular as promotional gifts for beverage brands. Target markets include Amazon FBA sellers, toy wholesalers, and specialized gift shops looking for high-margin, seasonal impulse-buy items.

Electric water guns contain lithium batteries, which are classified as Dangerous Goods (Class 9). You must ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Safe Transport Report. Using a freight forwarder experienced in battery-inclusive shipping is critical to avoid cargo seizure or high surcharges at the port of entry.

Always request a pre-shipment inspection (PSI). Negotiate a payment structure such as 30% deposit and 70% balance after a third-party inspection report is issued. Clearly define the Defective Rate Allowance (usually <2%) in the contract, and specify that the supplier is responsible for replacements or refunds for units that fail due to water leakage into the electronics.

For seasonal products like water guns, timing is everything. Use Sea-plus-Delivery (LDP/DDP) terms if you want a hands-off approach, but ensure the HS Code (950300) is correctly declared to avoid misclassification fines. For large bulk orders, FOB (Free On Board) is recommended to maintain better control over shipping costs and schedules.

Look for 'Audited Suppliers' on Made-in-China.com, as these companies have undergone on-site verification by third-party agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas. Review their Export Experience—suppliers who regularly ship to the US or EU are more likely to understand and adhere to strict chemical and mechanical safety standards.
