Wholesale glasses cloth manufacturers

The most critical factor is the composition of the microfiber. High-end glasses cloths typically use a blend of 80% polyester and 20% polyamide. Polyamide provides the necessary absorbency and softness, while polyester offers durability. You should also verify the GSM (Grams per Square Meter); a density of 180-250 GSM is ideal for a premium feel and effective cleaning without scratching delicate coatings.

For wholesale procurement, you should choose between ultrasonic cutting, laser cutting, or zigzag (sawtooth) edges. Ultrasonic cutting is the gold standard as it melts the edges slightly to prevent linting and fraying, ensuring the cloth remains intact after multiple washes. Avoid simple straight-cut edges without heat treatment, as they tend to shed fibers which can damage optical lenses.

Ensure the supplier complies with REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) and RoHS standards, especially if exporting to the EU, to guarantee the dyes and fibers are free from harmful substances. For eco-friendly branding, look for OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification, which confirms the textile is safe for prolonged skin contact.

Request a scratch-test report or perform a sample test on AR (Anti-Reflective) coated lenses. The cloth must be able to remove lipids (fingerprints) and dust without requiring excessive pressure. High-quality microfiber should have a wedge-shaped cross-section to lift dirt rather than pushing it across the surface.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection (TPI) services before the final balance payment. Request a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to check for color consistency, dimensions, and printing clarity (especially for embossed or silk-screened logos). On platforms like Made-in-China.com, prioritize Audited Suppliers who have undergone verified on-site inspections of their manufacturing facilities.

Negotiate based on total annual volume rather than a single order to secure lower unit prices. For custom branding, the MOQ is usually 1,000 to 5,000 pieces. You can often reduce costs by standardizing the cloth size (e.g., 15x15cm) to fit the manufacturer's existing fabric rolls, which minimizes material waste and lowers the price by 5-10%.

Since glasses cloths are lightweight but can be bulky in large quantities, calculate the volumetric weight carefully. For wholesale orders, vacuum packaging can significantly reduce the volume, potentially lowering air freight or LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping costs by up to 30%. Ensure the outer cartons are double-walled and moisture-proof to prevent mildew during long sea transits.

Use Secured Payment services provided by reputable B2B platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure your funds are only released to the supplier once you confirm receipt of goods. Avoid direct transfers to private bank accounts; always ensure the beneficiary name matches the company name on the Proforma Invoice and the business license.
