Wholesale human raw hair manufacturers

Authentic Raw Hair is 100% unprocessed, meaning it has not undergone any chemical, heat, or steam treatment. To verify authenticity, check the cuticle alignment; raw hair must be cuticle-correct (all scales facing the same direction) to prevent tangling. Unlike Remy hair, which is often steam-curled to achieve uniform patterns, Raw Hair typically comes in natural textures (straight, wavy, or curly) and may have slight color variations between bundles as each comes from a single donor.

Focus on the Double Drawn vs. Single Drawn ratio. Double Drawn hair contains a higher percentage of long hairs, resulting in thick ends, whereas Single Drawn is thinner at the bottom. Additionally, perform a burn test on samples: human hair should turn into ash and smell like burning protein, while synthetic blends will melt into a hard plastic bead. Ensure the hair has no silicone coating, which is often used by low-quality suppliers to mimic a temporary shine that disappears after the first wash.

Ethical sourcing is critical in the hair industry. Buyers should request documentation regarding the source of collection to ensure the hair was donated or sold voluntarily. For international trade, ensure the supplier provides a Fumigation Certificate and a Veterinary Health Certificate (if required by your country's customs) to prove the organic material is free from pathogens. Check if the manufacturer follows ISO 9001 standards for quality management systems.

Single Donor hair is the highest tier of raw hair, commanding a premium price because it ensures complete texture and color consistency within a single bundle. This type of hair can last 3 to 5 years with proper care and can be bleached to 613 blonde or even platinum levels without losing structural integrity. Multi-donor hair is cheaper but reacts inconsistently to chemical processing.

The most prevalent risk is 'bait and switch', where the sample quality exceeds the bulk order. To mitigate this, use Third-Party Inspection services before the final balance payment. Another risk is weight fraud; ensure the '100g bundle' refers to the net hair weight excluding the rubber bands and packaging. Always source through reputable platforms like Made-in-China.com, which offer trade security and verified supplier profiles.

Do not just negotiate on unit price; negotiate on the long-term consistency of the hair grade. Request a tiered pricing structure based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for customized packaging/branding (private labeling) to be included in the bulk price. For initial orders, insist on sample-cost reimbursement upon the placement of a full container or bulk order.

Human hair is classified under HS Code 6703 (human hair, dressed, thinned, bleached, or otherwise worked). Be aware that some countries have strict biosecurity laws regarding animal/human by-products. Ensure your supplier provides a clear Commercial Invoice and Packing List that matches the physical goods exactly to avoid Customs seizures or delays. For high-value raw hair, Air Freight (DHL/FedEx) is recommended over sea freight to reduce the risk of moisture damage and theft.

Avoid direct wire transfers to unknown personal accounts. Utilize Escrow-based payment systems provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released after you confirm receipt of goods. Always document the unboxing process with video evidence to support any potential dispute claims regarding quality or quantity discrepancies.
