Wholesale mosquito mat manufacturers

The most common active ingredients are Prallethrin or Esbiothrin, typically at a concentration of 10mg to 15mg per mat. A high-quality mat should provide 8 to 12 hours of continuous protection per piece. Ensure the mat uses a high-density wood fiber or paper board carrier that allows for stable and uniform volatilization of the insecticide when heated.

Since mosquito mats contain pesticides, they are strictly regulated. You must ensure the supplier provides a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and a Certificate of Analysis (COA). For specific markets, look for EPA registration (USA), HSE compliance (UK), or WHO (World Health Organization) recommended active ingredient levels. Additionally, the heating device used with the mats must have CE, RoHS, or UL certification to ensure electrical safety.

Request a Knockdown Time (KT50/KT90) test report, which measures how quickly the product disables mosquitoes. For safety, verify that the fragrance used is IFRA compliant to prevent respiratory irritation. It is highly recommended to order samples to test the 'smokeless' claim and ensure there is no pungent odor or oily residue left on the heater after use.

Most professional suppliers on Made-in-China.com offer customized packaging (foil bags and color boxes), adjustable active ingredient concentrations to suit local mosquito resistance, and bespoke fragrances (e.g., lavender, lemon, or odorless). You can also negotiate private labeling for the electric heaters included in starter kits.

Mosquito mats are often classified as Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods due to their chemical content. You must work with a freight forwarder experienced in DG (Dangerous Goods) handling. Ensure the supplier provides UN-approved packaging to prevent leakage or contamination during transit, and always confirm the HS Code (typically 3808.91) with your local customs broker to determine exact duty rates.

Utilize Trade Assurance services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to protect your payment until delivery is confirmed. Conduct a factory audit or hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) to verify the quantity, packaging integrity, and active ingredient consistency.

Focus on tiered pricing based on annual volume rather than a single order. Ask for free heater samples to be included in the first shipment to increase your retail value. Negotiate for spare parts (1-2% extra mats) to cover potential damage during shipping, and request longer payment terms (e.g., Net 30) once a stable relationship is established after the first three successful transactions.

Before importing, check your country's Ministry of Agriculture or Environmental Protection Agency requirements. Many countries require a Pesticide Import Permit. Ensure all labels are translated into the local language and include mandatory warnings, first-aid instructions, and the registration number required by your local government to avoid customs seizure.
