Wholesale mosquito screens manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize Fiberglass with PVC coating for general use due to its flexibility and fire resistance, or Stainless Steel (304 or 316 grade) for high-durability and anti-corrosion needs. Ensure the mesh density is typically 18x16 or 20x20 strands per inch to effectively block small insects while maintaining optimal airflow and visibility.

For the US market, ensure products meet REACH and RoHS standards to guarantee they are free from hazardous substances like lead or phthalates. For construction projects, look for UL fire-rated certifications and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems to ensure consistent manufacturing standards across large batches.

Conduct a tensile strength test to ensure the mesh does not tear under pressure and a UV resistance test (typically ASTM G154) to prevent yellowing or brittleness after sun exposure. For pleated or retractable systems, verify the cycle life, aiming for at least 10,000 successful openings/closings without mechanical failure.

A capable supplier should offer OEM services including custom roll widths (from 0.5m to 3.0m), various colors (grey, black, and white being standard), and customized packaging with your brand logo. For finished window sets, ensure they can provide aluminum frame powder coating that matches specific RAL color codes.

Always utilize Third-Party Inspection services (such as SGS or Intertek) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). Focus on checking the mesh uniformity, weight per square meter (GSM), and ensuring there are no weaving defects or oil stains which are common in low-quality production runs.

Leverage tiered pricing based on volume; for mosquito screens, a Full Container Load (FCL) usually yields a 15-20% discount compared to LCL. Request FOB (Free On Board) terms to maintain control over your shipping costs and use Made-in-China.com's secured payment services to protect your capital until the goods are shipped.

Mosquito screen rolls are susceptible to crushing. Insist on hard paper tube cores and outer corrugated cartons reinforced with wooden pallets for LCL shipments. Ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof plastic wrapping to prevent mold during sea transit, especially in humid tropical routes.

Verify the HS Code (typically 7019 or 3925) with your customs broker to determine applicable import duties. Be aware of anti-dumping duties that some regions (like the EU or USA) may apply to specific fiberglass or aluminum products originating from certain countries, and ensure all Certificates of Origin are accurately prepared to claim preferential tariff rates.
