Buyers should prioritize Medical-Grade Silicone or High-Quality TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer). Silicone is preferred for its non-porous nature, durability, and hypoallergenic properties, making it easier to sanitize. TPE offers a softer, more realistic skin-like texture but requires more maintenance (like cornstarch application) to prevent tackiness. Ensure the supplier provides Phthalate-free certifications to meet international health standards.

Look for advanced features such as internal textured tunnels (ribbed or beaded) for enhanced sensation, integrated heating elements that mimic body temperature, and multi-frequency vibration modes. For high-end models, intelligent voice interaction and suction technology are significant selling points that justify higher retail margins.

Request data on tensile strength and tear resistance. High-quality TPE should be able to stretch up to 5-6 times its original length without permanent deformation. Additionally, check the waterproof rating (IPX7 or higher) for electronic components to ensure the product can be fully submerged for cleaning without damaging the internal circuitry.

For the US market, products must comply with California Proposition 65 regarding chemical safety. For the EU, CE and RoHS certifications are mandatory for any electronic components, and materials must meet REACH regulations. Ensure the supplier provides a Declaration of Conformity (DoC) to avoid customs seizures.

Request neutral, unbranded outer packaging with no mention of the contents. The shipping manifest should use generic descriptions like 'Silicone Crafts' or 'Personal Care Tools'. This reduces the risk of theft, customs delays, or moral-based rejections in conservative regions.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume and ask for OEM/ODM customization (such as custom molds or branded boxes). Always request a pre-production sample to verify the 'shore hardness' (softness) of the material. Negotiate for a 1-2% defect allowance or replacement credit in the next order to cover potential electronic failures.

Utilize Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. For large orders, hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Intertek) to perform a 'During Production Check' (DUPRO) or a 'Final Random Inspection' (FRI) to verify material quality before the final balance is paid.

Full-sized dolls or heavy strokers have high shipping costs due to weight. Consider Sea Freight (LCL/FCL) for bulk orders to significantly reduce the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Ensure the supplier uses moisture-proof desiccant bags inside the packaging to prevent mold growth during long-duration ocean transit.
