Wholesale repellent mosquito mat manufacturers

The most effective mosquito mats typically use Prallethrin or Esbiothrin as the active ingredient, usually in concentrations ranging from 10mg to 15mg per mat. You should ensure the mat provides a stable release of vapor for at least 8 to 12 hours. High-quality mats are made from cellulose fiber or organic paper pulp that resists charring and ensures even heating when used with an electric heater.

Since mosquito mats are biocidal products, they must comply with strict safety regulations. For the US market, EPA registration is essential. For the EU, products must align with the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR). Globally, look for ISO 9001 for manufacturing quality and MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to verify chemical safety and handling procedures. Ensure the product is smoke-free and low-toxicity to meet indoor air quality standards.

Request a Bio-efficacy Test Report from a third-party lab, which measures the Knockdown (KT50) and Mortality rate of mosquitoes. A premium mat should achieve a knockdown effect within 15-30 minutes in a standard 28m³ room. Additionally, verify the fragrance stability; reputable suppliers offer options like Lavender, Lemon, or Odorless versions that do not produce irritating smells when heated.

Mosquito mats have a typical shelf life of 2 to 3 years if stored correctly. They must be kept in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the degradation of the active chemical ingredients. Ensure the outer foil packaging is airtight; any puncture in the foil will lead to the evaporation of the repellent, rendering the mat ineffective.

Mosquito mats are often classified as Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Goods or 'Environmentally Hazardous Substances' due to the chemical pesticides. You must ensure the supplier provides a UN3077/UN3082 classification if applicable and a Certificate for Safe Transport of Chemical Goods. Failure to declare these correctly can lead to customs seizures or heavy fines at the port of entry.

Always use the Secured Trading Service on Made-in-China.com to protect your payments. When negotiating, request a detailed Proforma Invoice (PI) that specifies the active ingredient percentage, packaging dimensions, and lead times. For large wholesale orders, insist on a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) by a third party like SGS or Intertek to verify the quantity and chemical composition before final payment.

Due to the high weight-to-volume ratio of paper-based mats, FCL (Full Container Load) sea freight is the most economical choice for wholesale. If you are testing a market, LCL (Less than Container Load) is viable, but ensure the mats are not co-loaded with food items or textiles to avoid cross-contamination of scents. For urgent seasonal stock, Air Freight is possible but requires strict IATA Dangerous Goods documentation.

Be aware of Anti-Dumping Duties or specific Environmental Taxes on pesticide products in certain regions. Check your country's HS Code (typically 3808.91) for applicable tariff rates. Sourcing from suppliers with CE or RoHS (for the heaters) can help bypass certain technical barriers to trade in the European market.
