Wholesale shot glass manufacturers

Buyers should prioritize High-White Sodium-Calcium Glass for standard clarity or Borosilicate Glass if the product needs to withstand thermal shock (e.g., flaming shots). For premium markets, Lead-Free Crystal offers superior brilliance and a resonant sound. Ensure the glass is BPA-free and meets Food Grade standards to ensure consumer safety.

For the US market, products must pass FDA 21 CFR testing, specifically for Lead and Cadmium leaching. For the EU, compliance with Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 and LFGB (Germany) is essential. Always request Third-Party Lab Reports (such as SGS or Intertek) to verify that heavy metal migration levels are within legal limits.

Request samples to perform a Dishwasher Safety Test (minimum 500 cycles recommended for commercial use) and an Annealing Quality Check to ensure no internal stress cracks. For decorated glasses, verify the Decal or Silk-screen printing durability using a 3M Tape Test to ensure logos do not peel after washing.

Suppliers on Made-in-China.com usually offer Deep Processing services including Sandblasting, Laser Engraving, Color Spraying, and Electroplating. For branding, High-Temperature Decals (fired at 580°C-620°C) are preferred over cold printing for permanent adhesion. Custom Mold Development is also an option for unique shapes, typically requiring a higher MOQ.

Glassware is highly fragile; insist on 5-Layer Corrugated Export Cartons and Individual Bubble Wrap or Egg-Crate Dividers. For LCL (Less than Container Load) shipments, require Palletization with Plastic Wrap and 'Fragile' handling labels. It is advisable to negotiate a 1%-3% Breakage Allowance or spare units included in the shipment.

Focus on Tiered Pricing based on volume; for example, ordering a Full 20GP Container can significantly reduce the unit cost compared to LCL due to lower port handling fees. Discuss Payment Terms such as a 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy to maintain cash flow leverage.

Utilize the Secured Trading Services provided by Made-in-China.com. Always verify the supplier's Audit Report and 'Diamond Member' status. Before the final payment, hire a Pre-shipment Inspection (PSI) service to verify the quantity, quality, and packaging meet your specific requirements.

Due to the high weight-to-value ratio, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical method. For urgent seasonal stock, Rail Freight (for Eurasia) offers a middle ground. Avoid Air Freight unless shipping high-value crystal samples, as the Volumetric Weight will likely exceed the product's cost.
