Wholesale yoga clothing manufacturers

Prioritize fabrics with a blend of Nylon and Spandex (typically 80/20 or 75/25) for optimal stretch and recovery. Ensure the fabric weight is between 220gsm to 300gsm to guarantee squat-proof opacity. Look for technical finishes such as moisture-wicking, four-way stretch, and antimicrobial treatments to enhance performance during high-intensity sessions.

For the US market, ensure compliance with CPSIA regarding lead and phthalate content. For the EU, products must meet REACH regulations. It is highly recommended to source from suppliers with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification to ensure the absence of harmful substances, and BSCI or Sedex audits to verify ethical manufacturing practices.

Check for flatlock stitching (six-thread four-needle) to prevent chafing and increase seam strength. For sports bras, verify the use of removable breathable pads and reinforced under-bust bands. For leggings, a high-waistband with tummy control and a gusseted crotch are critical for comfort and freedom of movement.

A capable supplier should offer private labeling (heat-transfer logos), custom color dyeing (Pantone matching), and bespoke sizing charts to fit your target demographic. Advanced suppliers on Made-in-China.com also provide sublimation printing or seamless knitting technology for specialized brand requirements.

Always request a pre-production sample (PPS) before releasing the bulk deposit. Utilize third-party inspection services (like V-Trust or QIMA) to conduct a During Production Check (DUPRO) or a Final Random Inspection (FRI) to verify that the fabric GSM and stitching match the approved sample.

Focus on tiered pricing based on volume; for instance, aim for a 10-15% discount when moving from 500 to 2,000 units. Negotiate payment terms such as a 30% deposit and 70% balance payment after the presentation of the Bill of Lading (B/L) or a successful inspection report.

For small trial orders, use Air Express (DHL/FedEx) for speed. For bulk wholesale, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is significantly more economical. Ensure the supplier provides an accurate Packing List and Commercial Invoice with the correct HS Code (typically 6114.30 for synthetic knitwear) to avoid customs delays and incorrect duty calculations.

Conduct all transactions through secured payment channels and prioritize Diamond Members or Audited Suppliers on Made-in-China.com. These statuses indicate the supplier has undergone on-site verification by independent agencies like SGS or Bureau Veritas, reducing the risk of fraud.
