Xcmg truck mounted crane manufacturers

When sourcing an XCMG truck-mounted crane, you must prioritize the lifting capacity (tonnage) and working radius. Ensure the boom type (telescopic vs. knuckle boom) aligns with your space constraints. Key technical indicators include the hydraulic system pressure, rotation angle (360° continuous preferred), and the outrigger span for stability. Always verify that the chassis brand (e.g., Howo, Shacman, or Dongfeng) is compatible with the crane's weight distribution and has local maintenance availability.

For global trade, the equipment must possess CE Certification for the European market or ANSI/ASME B30.5 for North America. Ensure the manufacturer provides an ISO 9001 Quality Management System certificate. Additionally, the vehicle must meet local emission standards (such as Euro V or VI) to be road-legal in the destination country. Request the Load Moment Indicator (LMI) calibration certificate to ensure operational safety compliance.

Focus on the material grade; high-quality cranes use HG785 high-strength steel to reduce self-weight while increasing lifting capacity. Check for safety integrations like over-hoist limit switches, hydraulic lock valves, and emergency stop buttons. For long-term durability, verify the anti-corrosion treatment of the boom and the brand of the hydraulic pump and valves, as these are the heart of the machine's performance.

Telescopic boom cranes are ideal for long-distance lifting and high-altitude work where precision and vertical reach are required. Knuckle boom (folding) cranes are better suited for confined spaces, urban construction, and loading/unloading tasks where the crane needs to be tucked away to save deck space. Choose based on whether your primary need is reach or compactness and flexibility.

The biggest risks include logistical damage during sea freight and non-compliance with local road regulations. To mitigate this, use Professional Third-Party Inspection (like SGS or BV) before the final payment to verify the machine's condition. Ensure the contract specifies seaworthy packaging, including anti-rust wax coating and secure lashing in RO-RO (Roll-on/Roll-off) or Flat Rack containers.

Do not just negotiate on the sticker price; negotiate the spare parts package (filters, seals, and sensors) for the first two years of operation. Ask for customized painting and branding at no extra cost for bulk orders. Request a detailed breakdown of the Incoterms—while CIF is convenient, FOB may offer you better control over shipping costs and insurance if you have a reliable freight forwarder.

Use Secured Payment services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. For large transactions, a Letter of Credit (L/C) is the most secure method. Always verify the supplier's Audit Reports and 'Diamond Member' status to ensure they are a verified manufacturer and not a middleman with no technical support capabilities.

Heavy machinery requires a Certificate of Origin (to benefit from FTA preferential tariffs), a Commercial Invoice, and a Detailed Packing List. For the chassis, you will need the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) report and Engine Technical Data for customs clearance. Ensure the supplier provides the Operation & Maintenance Manual in English (or your local language) to avoid delays during the technical inspection at the port of entry.
