1500 21 tyre manufacturers

When purchasing 15.00-21 tyres, you must prioritize the Ply Rating (PR), typically ranging from 18PR to 22PR, to ensure the load-carrying capacity meets your vehicle's requirements. Pay close attention to the tread pattern; for off-road or military applications, a non-directional cross-country pattern is essential for superior traction in sand and mud. Additionally, verify the Load Index and Speed Symbol to ensure they align with international safety standards for heavy-duty trucks.

To ensure legal entry and road safety, tyres must carry specific markings based on the destination market. For the US, DOT (Department of Transportation) certification is mandatory. For the European market, ECE (E-mark) and Reach compliance are required. For global quality management, ensure the manufacturer is ISO 9001 certified, and for the Chinese market, CCC (China Compulsory Certification) is a baseline indicator of manufacturing quality.

The natural rubber content significantly impacts heat dissipation and wear resistance. For hot climates (e.g., Middle East or Africa), look for compounds with high heat resistance to prevent blowouts. For mining or rocky terrains, prioritize tyres with anti-cut and anti-chip additives. Sourcing from reputable manufacturers on Made-in-China.com allows you to request customized rubber formulations tailored to your specific environmental conditions.

The 15.00-21 size is specialized and usually requires a 11.25-21 wheel rim. You must confirm whether the tyre is Tube-Type (TT) or Tubeless (TL). If it is a tube-type tyre, ensure the supplier includes the matching inner tube and flap in the quotation, as mismatched components are a leading cause of premature tyre failure in heavy-duty applications.

Tyres can deform if stacked improperly in a container for long periods. Require the supplier to use professional loading techniques and avoid excessive compression. For 1500 21 tyres, it is often safer to ship them upright or slightly overlapped (laced). You should also consider Third-Party Inspection (TPI) services like SGS or Intertek to verify the loading process before the container is sealed.

The tyre industry is sensitive to raw material costs (natural rubber and steel cord). It is advisable to negotiate based on current market indices. For MOQs, while a full container load (FCL) is standard to optimize freight costs, many suppliers on Made-in-China.com will accept a trial order of 10-20 pieces. To get the best price, offer a long-term procurement plan rather than a one-off purchase, which encourages manufacturers to provide 'Tier 1' export pricing.

Standard international practice for heavy-duty tyres is a quality warranty covering manufacturing defects for a specific period (e.g., 1 year) or a specific tread wear depth (e.g., first 20% of wear). Ensure the contract explicitly states the claim procedure, requiring only photographic or video evidence rather than shipping the physical tyre back, which is economically unfeasible.

Always use secure payment terms such as Letter of Credit (L/C) for large volumes or Escrow-based services provided by platforms like Made-in-China.com. Avoid 100% upfront T/T payments. A standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) copy is the most common and balanced approach to protect both the buyer and the seller.
