Adhesive cartridge manufacturers

Buyers must prioritize material compatibility (e.g., PP, PA, or PBT) to ensure the cartridge does not react with the chemical contents. For two-component systems, the mixing ratio (1:1, 2:1, 4:1, or 10:1) must be precise to ensure proper curing. Additionally, check the burst pressure rating to ensure the cartridge can withstand high-pressure pneumatic dispensing without leakage or deformation.

Verify the flange design and piston type (e.g., multi-seal or wall-wiper pistons). Standardized sizes like 50ml, 200ml, and 400ml usually follow international dimensions, but it is critical to confirm the neck style (threaded or bayonet) to ensure a seamless fit with static mixers and dispensing guns.

For industrial use, ensure the supplier adheres to ISO 9001 for quality management. If the adhesive is for construction, look for REACH or RoHS compliance to ensure the plastic components do not contain restricted hazardous substances. For food-grade applications, FDA-approved raw materials for the plastic housing are mandatory.

Nylon (PA) cartridges are preferred for high-viscosity materials due to their strength, while Polypropylene (PP) is the industry standard for general-purpose adhesives due to its chemical resistance and cost-effectiveness. For moisture-sensitive adhesives like polyurethanes, look for aluminum-lined or high-barrier cartridges to prevent premature curing.

The biggest risk is structural deformation during transit, which leads to piston jamming. Always request reinforced export packaging and verify the shelf life of pre-filled cartridges, as temperature fluctuations during sea freight can affect chemical stability. Use Made-in-China.com's Secured Trading services to mitigate payment risks.

Focus on Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) flexibility for custom colors or branding. Suppliers on Made-in-China.com often offer 15-20% discounts for annual volume commitments. Negotiate for free replacement of defective units (usually a 1-3% defect allowance is standard in plastic injection molding).

Conduct a leakage test and a piston fitment test. Ensure the wall thickness is consistent using calipers, as thin walls can lead to bursting under pneumatic pressure. Request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for the plastic resin used in production.

Due to the high volume-to-weight ratio, Sea Freight (FCL or LCL) is the most economical. Ensure the supplier uses pallets with shrink-wrap to prevent dust contamination, which is critical for clean-room dispensing applications. For urgent samples, International Express is viable but expensive due to the 'dim weight' of empty cartridges.
