Buyers must choose between TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) and Medical-Grade Silicone. TPE is more cost-effective and softer to the touch but requires regular powdering to prevent oiliness. Silicone is more durable, heat-resistant, and hypoallergenic, making it the preferred choice for premium markets despite a higher price point.

Ensure the doll features a reinforced stainless steel skeleton with multi-axis joints. This allows for a wide range of motion without metal fatigue. High-quality suppliers on Made-in-China.com provide skeletons that can withstand high-pressure positioning and offer upgraded neck connectors to prevent head instability.

Professional manufacturers typically offer customization for eye color, wig styles, skin tone, and makeup. For advanced requirements, inquire about integrated heating systems, internal voice modules, or AI-driven interaction, which can significantly increase the retail value and market differentiation.

To avoid customs seizures, ensure the supplier uses discreet packaging without explicit imagery or text. Use HS codes related to 'Plastic Mannequins' or 'Silicon Crafts' if appropriate for your local regulations. Always check the legality of adult product imports in your specific destination country to prevent total loss of cargo.

Focus on sample-to-bulk consistency. Negotiate a Quality Assurance Agreement that specifies the doll's weight, height, and material density. Request a pre-shipment video inspection of your specific units to verify that the craftsmanship matches the approved prototype before final payment.

These products are heavy (typically 25kg-50kg) and prone to deformation. Insist on custom-fitted foam molds and thickened five-layer corrugated boxes. For sea freight, ensure the use of desiccants inside the packaging to prevent mold growth during long-transit humidity changes.
