Cake display counter price manufacturers

The price is primarily driven by the cooling system (ventilated vs. static), compressor brand (e.g., Embraco or Secop), and glass type. High-end models feature triple-glazed heated glass to prevent condensation, which is essential for high-humidity environments. Additionally, look for LED lighting with high color rendering (CRI >90) to enhance food appeal and digital temperature controllers (like Carel or Dixell) for precise climate management between 2°C to 8°C.

Prioritize units constructed with 304-grade stainless steel rather than 201-grade to ensure corrosion resistance against food acids and cleaning agents. The use of high-density cyclopentane insulation reduces energy consumption, significantly lowering operational costs over time. For luxury settings, marble or granite bases increase the price but offer superior durability and a premium aesthetic that justifies higher retail margins for the cakes displayed.

Ensure the supplier provides CE certification for the European market or UL/ETL certification for North America. Crucially, verify that the refrigerant used is eco-friendly (e.g., R290 or R600a) to comply with global F-gas regulations. For food safety, the interior must meet NSF/ANSI standards or equivalent food-grade material certifications to ensure no toxic leaching occurs.

Most professional manufacturers on Made-in-China.com offer OEM/ODM services. This includes custom dimensions to fit specific floor plans, logo silk-screening on the glass, and adjustable shelving systems to accommodate different cake heights. Customizing the exterior finish (wood grain, gold plating, or specific RAL colors) usually adds 15-20% to the base price but strengthens brand identity.

The biggest risk is glass breakage and compressor displacement during transit. You must insist on seaworthy plywood crate packaging (not just cartons) with shock-absorbent foam corners. Ensure the supplier includes 'This Side Up' and 'Fragile' indicators. It is also vital to confirm the voltage and frequency (e.g., 220V/50Hz vs 110V/60Hz) match the destination country's grid to avoid motor burnout upon arrival.

When negotiating on Made-in-China.com, focus on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Ask for a breakdown of the component brands; a lower price often hides a generic compressor. Request a spare parts kit (gaskets, controllers, LED strips) to be included in the bulk price, typically representing 3-5% of the order value, which saves significant maintenance costs later. For orders over 5 units, aim for a 10-15% volume discount.

Use Secured Trading services provided by the platform to ensure payment is only released upon proof of shipment. Always hire a third-party inspection agency (like SGS or Bureau Veritas) to perform a Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI). The inspector should specifically check the pull-down temperature time (how fast the unit reaches 2°C) and check for refrigerant leaks using electronic detectors before the balance payment is made.

Due to the weight and volume, LCL (Less than Container Load) shipping can be expensive and risky for glass. If purchasing multiple units, FCL (Full Container Load) is much safer and more cost-effective. Ensure the Incoterms are clearly defined; CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) is convenient, but FOB (Free On Board) gives the buyer more control over the shipping timeline and local clearing charges.
