Capsule houses manufacturers

When evaluating capsule houses, prioritize the structural frame, which should be made of galvanized steel to prevent corrosion. The exterior shell is typically aviation-grade aluminum for lightweight durability. Ensure the insulation layer uses high-density polyurethane (PU) foam or rock wool to maintain thermal efficiency. For glass components, double-layered tempered vacuum glass is essential for soundproofing and energy conservation.

Compliance varies by destination. For the US market, ensure electrical components are UL certified and the structure meets local building codes (e.g., HUD or IBC). For the EU market, CE marking is mandatory, and materials should comply with REACH and RoHS standards. Additionally, verify that the supplier holds ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental standards.

Most modern capsule houses feature integrated smart control systems. You must verify if the central control panel is compatible with local voltage (110V vs 220V) and if the software supports English or your local language. Check for the stability of smart locks, automated curtains, and climate control systems. Request a technical protocol document to ensure the system can be maintained or updated remotely by the manufacturer.

Capsule houses are 'plug-and-play,' but they require a level foundation (concrete piers or steel piles). Ensure the unit comes with pre-installed plumbing and electrical interfaces that match your country's standards. Confirm the sewage discharge system type—whether it is a standard gravity drain or requires a macerator pump for specific terrains.

Due to their oversized nature, capsule houses are usually shipped via 40FR (Flat Rack) or 40HQ containers. The main risk is structural deformation or glass breakage during transit. You must negotiate for reinforced internal bracing and specialized seaworthy packaging. It is highly recommended to purchase All-Risk Marine Insurance to cover potential damage during loading and unloading.

Look for 'Audited Suppliers' who have undergone on-site inspections by third-party agencies like SGS or TÜV Rheinland. Check their export history specifically for prefabricated buildings. Request a video factory audit to see the production line and finished units. A reliable supplier should provide a detailed warranty policy (typically 2-5 years for the structure) and a clear after-sales assembly guide.

For large-scale purchases, negotiate based on volume tiers; a 5-10 unit order can often reduce the unit price by 10-15%. Use Secured Payment services provided by Made-in-China.com to ensure funds are only released upon proof of shipment. Avoid paying 100% upfront; a standard 30% deposit and 70% balance against the Bill of Lading (B/L) is the industry norm for protecting buyer interests.

Capsule houses are often classified under HS Code 940690 (Prefabricated Buildings). Import duties vary significantly; for example, check for anti-dumping duties or specific environmental levies in your country. Always consult with a local customs broker before the ship departs to ensure all Certificate of Origin documents are prepared to leverage any existing Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
