Dcp granular price manufacturers

When sourcing DCP Granular, the most critical factor is the Phosphorus (P) content, which typically ranges from 17% to 18%. You must also verify the Calcium (Ca) content (20-24%) and ensure the Fluorine (F) levels are below 0.18% to prevent toxicity in livestock. The particle size for granular forms should ideally be between 0.5mm and 2.0mm to ensure good flowability and minimal dust during feed mixing.

Suppliers must provide FAMI-QS (Feed Additives and Pre-Mixtures Quality System) or ISO 9001/22000 certifications. For specific markets like the EU, REACH registration is necessary. Always request a Certificate of Analysis (COA) for every batch and verify that the product meets heavy metal limits, specifically for Arsenic (As < 30ppm) and Lead (Pb < 30ppm), to comply with global safety standards.

DCP is generally produced via the sulfuric acid method or the hydrochloric acid method. The dihydrate form is more common and offers better biological phosphorus availability for animals. Prices fluctuate based on the cost of raw materials like phosphate rock and sulfuric acid. Sourcing from integrated manufacturers who own their own mines can lead to more stable pricing and consistent purity levels.

DCP Granular is primarily used as a mineral supplement in poultry, livestock, and aquaculture feed to promote bone development and metabolic health. Due to its hygroscopic nature, it must be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated warehouse. Ensure the packaging consists of PP/PE bags with an inner liner to prevent moisture absorption, which can cause caking and reduce the shelf life.

Engage a third-party inspection agency (such as SGS or BV) to perform pre-shipment sampling and testing. Do not rely solely on the supplier's internal lab reports. Ensure the contract specifies that payment is contingent upon the inspection results meeting the agreed-upon technical parameters, particularly for Phosphorus and Fluorine content.

Negotiate based on volume tiers and long-term contracts. Since DCP is a commodity, prices are sensitive to energy costs and freight rates. Ask for FOB (Free On Board) pricing to maintain control over logistics costs, and request a price formula linked to raw material indices if you are planning recurring monthly shipments of over 100 metric tons.

DCP is heavy and dense; ensure the supplier uses seaworthy packaging and reinforced containers. For granular products, palletization and shrink-wrapping are recommended to prevent bag breakage during transit. Confirm the HS Code (typically 2835260000) with your customs broker to ensure accurate import duty calculation and compliance with local agricultural department regulations.

Utilize the Secured Trading services provided by Made-in-China.com to protect your funds. Avoid direct wire transfers to private accounts. Always verify the supplier's Business License and Export Permit. For first-time orders, start with a trial order (e.g., one 20ft container) before committing to large-scale annual procurement.
